May 15, 2018The fact the Celtics have a great shot to make the Finals, makes the Hayward/Kyrie injury hurt even worse. We actually had/have a shot at the title....wtf...

Celtics would be a much better match up for the Warriors than the Cavs and their zero defense anyways..
Plus according to @Fitzy they always play the Warriors real tough too.
Rockets got a better shot than the Cavs at this point imo, Boston’s D is too much for the Cavs to win 4 of 5 and Stevens is too great of a coach.CavalierTD, RetiredAccount, Fitzy and 1 other person like this.Dec 28, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Brad Stevens maybe the best coach of all time. Don't think the 3 point discrepancy in game 1 will continue but d--- that was an impressive win without Jaylen.Ordinary Joel, Fitzy, eddie and 1 other person like this. -

That’s another thing I meant to touch on is the Stevens effect on Hayward. That guy gets the best out of everyone he coaches.Ordinary Joel, Heisenberg, Big Mitch and 1 other person like this. -

Word is that Stan Van Gundy is about to lose both his jobs in Detroit. Head coach and president/Gm whichever he is i forget. The Blake Griffin trade really was a disaster. Trade your first round pick and 2 solid players for a player who's on a 5 year contract, over paid, and injury prone.

I don't wanna write off the Cavs or LeBron, but I really feel we have a chance this year.
This is why LeBron isn't on Jordan, Kobe, Magic or Bird's level to me though. He has the ability to bring this team to the Finals, and make it a series, but to me, he likes the easy road.
There's times in big moments, that he just totally folds or defaults. It drives me nuts.
There was a play in, I think Game 3 of the Finals, where there was a minute to go, LeBron had the ball, and he kicked it to Korver, and Korver missed it, and Warriors ended up winning.
Like, BRO YOU WERE ONE ON ONE WIT DRAYMOND! I don't give a f--- how good he is defensively, you can blow by him one on one, or post him up.
And I know people will say he made the right basketball move, but there's no f---ing way Jordan or Kobe or Bird is kicking it to Korver in that scenario, not when they're one on one lmao.
Also, I know that he said that the story wasn't true, but he hasn't said "I'm not going to the Warriors." That is bothering me. Like bro, I want him to say "No, I'd never go to the Warriors. My goal is to take them down, not join them"
All he's said is "I won't discuss this until summer is here" It's so f---ing annoying to me that this guy MIGHT actually be considering that.
You don't need all these f---ing superstars. You're LeBron f---ing James. You can f---ing drive passed anyone, you can post up. Draw double teams and kick it out. You legit can do ANYTHING, yet you want all these f---ing superstars and want to play GM. It's really disheartening to me as a fan of the sport.
As a Boston fan, I HAVE supported LeBron and rooted for the guy, but to me, he only had a window of maybe 4-5 years where he truly reminded me of those greats. 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. And I still feel 2012 and 2013 was bs because he joined the Heat, but he definitely played on another level in those years, and seemed insanely hungry, and played with a chip on his shoulder, like a Kobe, Bird or Jordan....
Otherwise, most the time, LeBron just folds up or straight up quits, and it's just f---ing irritating.
Sorry for the rant, but you mentioning his "look" and how franchises can't let them play GM just set me off, cuz it's so true.game time67, Ordinary Joel, Poohdini and 1 other person like this. -

He's arguably the biggest front runner/mercenary in NBA history when he inevitably bails this summer. On one hand I can't blame him since Gilbert seems intent on torpedoing that franchise for the 2nd time in 8 years, but a top 5 player OAT continuing to shuffle teams in his prime just doesn't sit right with me.
That Warriors report is so clearly a leak from Bron's camp, either to cause a rift in GS or to give the Cavs FO a wake up call to make some moves. It literally says in that report "there's no indication the Warriors are pursuing this option." On top of his passive aggressive post on IG the other day, I just can't with this guy sometimes lol.Ordinary Joel, Big Mitch, game time67 and 1 other person like this. - Dec 28, 2025
