Surprised D'angelo wasn't on one of those all NBA summer league teams, he definitely played great. Maybe he wasn't eligible cuz he sat out the last game, who knows.

Very happy with how the Lakers looked in their first summer league game, tomorrow we get Ingram vs. Simmons.

Russell was the biggest positive, Zubac was a surprise. Ingram looked good.

I'm sure a few people have been interested to hear my thoughts on this. I'm not 100% sure its fully hit me yet. Wade has been in Miami for 13 years. I've watched almost 13 years straight of Wade basketball, and it's surreal that he's really gone. I'm not gonna blame anyone, not even Pat Riley, for this happening. In a way, it's a good thing. Wade is getting up there in age, and instead of giving him the "Kobe contract," we let him walk. I'm sort of okay with it, and here's why.

Wade wanted 50 million over the next 3 years from Miami. We weren't gonna go over our proposed deal of 40 million for 2 years because we simply couldn't. We don't have the cap space and already had the money committed to Whiteside. Trading Josh McRoberts could've been an option, but in today's market, his contract alone is a solid asset. This all put Riley in a lose lose situation. He saw what happened to the Lakers when they paid Kobe the last couple of years. He didn't think it was worth it. Could he be wrong? Absolutely, but Riley had to make a tough decision. The other option was to let Wade sign elsewhere and have 20 million in cap space to sign other guys all while pissing off all of Heat nation. I, unlike many other Heat fans, know that the NBA is a business and that sometimes you have to do what's best for the future. I'm excited to see what this Heat team can do in the next couple of years. I think Bosh can be great if he gets healthy and Dragic is gonna be a lot better now that Wade is gone. Not to mention the great young talent we have with Winslow and Richardson. They very well might both be starting this season.

Overall, it saddens me to picture a Heat team without Wade, but I understand everything that happened. I wish Wade the best in Chicago, and I hope he enjoys playing for his hometown. I've never been a big Bulls fan, so it's gonna be tough at first, but I'll be cheering for Wade to do big things. I'm still a Heat fan and I always will be. Whiteside, the franchise is yours now.

Hes about as selfish as a pass first player can get. Stopped giving a f--- about him after he essentially said he didn't try on defense his last 2 years in Boston. C's are like 30 games above .500 since they dropped his a---. Its sad because he was one of the most exciting player to watch in the league pre-ACL/during the Big 3 era, but he makes your team worse instantly.
