Mar 6, 2016 i listened through for a bit earlier, and i didn't actually dislike any of it... but on the flipside of that, something about the sounds you used made it sound cheap, like it was made with stock FL sounds etc. maybe i'm mistaken and i need to listen again, but that's just what i came away with on first listen
Mar 6, 2016 That's a bit suprising to hear, to be honest I don't think a single sound that I used was stock FL sounds. They were all from either Komolete Kontol or Nexus. Which are both expensive VST's. Hmm, Maybe it's the way I mixed it. Any ones in particular? I'll try to work on that for my next project.

Mar 6, 2016 Yeah I know what you mean. When listening to something for the first time I always try to use my good headphones. It's crazy how much of a difference s--- like that can make sometimes. Glad you enjoyed, definitly let me know how it goes on the next spin
Mar 6, 2016 After listening to the full thing, i have to agree with Cyriedes. Alot of the sounds are very stock sounding. I think if you were to find alternative vsts/sounds you could definitely improve the overall tracks tenfold. You have alot of potential, just play around with more sounds & you're set to go

Mar 6, 2016 it's probably just the specific instruments in them you used cause i use nexus almost exclusively, but i know there's a s--- load of stuff in it that sounds cheesy or cheap, and i actively try and avoid it unless i'm going for a weird 80s synth vibe for something, and i don't know how you are about tweaking the presets on the instruments and eqing them, but you could either not be cutting enough of their bad frequencies out, or not tweaking them enough. Or something, idrk
Mar 6, 2016 It's a nice a--- project. Though, I do agree with Cy & Creation in that some of the sounds sound kinda stocky & cheap, particularly the drums on a lot of the tracks. Everything else, i love though, there's all sorts of vibes & moods that make each track an interesting listen. Additionaly, i hella like the melodies on a lot of the tracks, they stay in your head for a while. All in all, it's a dope piece of work. Finna DL this s--- straight to my mp3 player.
