So I was listening to the live version of Love Yourz yesterday where he had that speech about happiness with the not so well off and sadness with the rich. If you go back and listen to what he's saying, so far, he's lived by his words. Being ghost in music yes, but being happy in his "normal" life wearing what he wants, growing his hair out, chilling in his homestate playing his favourite hobby basketball etc. And if it wasn't for that interview, he would have been happily married without anyone knowing with his girl. I know we all are itching for new music from him, but he really is having a life change that he needs to take his time to seep into his music from now on and needs to be organic like FHD was and still is. Even if this was all a front, he can't go back to talking about college, cheating with b------s or anything else he usually throws in his music purely because off the message of this album. Which begs the question, what will he talk about now? FHD and everything about it until now feels like his farewell tour. Of course he will be back but it needs to be right and relevant to him along with the world. As I type this, I'm listening to Bitchez lmao.

This s--- is crazy. With Sales Plus Streaming 2014FHD outsold Dirty Sprite 2, What a Time to be Alive, To p---- a Butterfly, and If You're Reading This its too late.

All those projects were released after 2014 FHD, and Kendrick even had a Grammy Boost. People are still buying this album and it'll be a year and a half since its release in May. None of the singles has been announced as platinum or gold, so the singles haven't really pushed sales and the tour is completely done. But people just keep buying this s---.

This is incredible to me. The longevity doesn't make sense. Lowkey starting to believe Hov might be buying albums. This project really resonated with people for real.

That collab album is coming 100%. Would be huge backlash if we dont get that s--- in feb. TDE and dreamville been chillin together ever since cole got off tour. ANyways, the more i listen to kendricks black friday the more i realize how much damage he did to that beat. Dude absolutely blew coles out of the water, even tho i think To2C is a better/easier beat to flow on. Kendrick uses his flows as instruments which is just ridiculous. And i also heard Cole and kendrick did these songs day before black friday which is amazing because kendricks verses were so densely packed, to think he can write rhymes like that so quickly is mind-blowing.
