The Red Bull Music Academy is known for making some of the best interviews, with amazing guests, and today was no exception. During a live interview with the Red Bull Music Academy today, Madlib announced that he’s working on his second collaboration album with Freddie Gibbs, titled Bandana.

The incredible duo put out their first collaborative album, Piñata, in 2014. The album received critical acclaim, leaving fans of the artists and music wanting more. Freddie Gibbs and Madlib have both stated that they hoped to work together again on a project, and it looks like that is actually coming into fruition.

Even though Madlib just announced this on the air, a release date wasn’t specified. However, Bandana will quickly become one of the most anticipated albums to come out.

For the last 6 years I've dedicated a lot of heart into the projects I've made, and have been the instructor behind a lot of very successful websites, but you know.. after loosing a lot of those websites based on legal issues or issues that related to copyright I started to loose more and more interest in the niche as a whole.

It's almost like I am dedicating 200% of my time into something which has no pay off in the long run, and it breaks my heart I was pretty content on running with this until the wheels fell completely off, but their not gonna throw me in jail, their not gonna take my money their just gonna continue wasting my time.

I've put a good 10+ days into this thought and I think at this point my decision is still a little on the fence on if I will follow though with this and it not just be a break, but at current stand.. I'm devastated.

I'll be leaving Sectioneighty, and every other forum / social media for awhile but I would like you guys to know it was a pleasure meeting a large percent of you and I hope nothing but success comes your way.

This is not a "GoodBye" It's more of a See You Later.

There were a few rumors that the first single isn't any of the three choices floating around (party tonight, pick up the phone, or yeah yeah) but instead a song called "Texas Love"

I didn't know where that rumor started so I didn't think anything of it but thug just revealed on snapchat that there's a video for "Texas Love"

Doesn't confirm that it's the single but well what the f--- else could it be? They never have videos ready before even debuting a song lol

Either way the song sounds great so it's worthy of a thread

I got more hoes than Kanye west clothes.

When it first drop i thot it was good as s---, said it was the best Slime Season and s---

But now I don't play it much and idk it just kinda faded off

Like it was great at the time but it just didn't really last with me. Songs on SS1, SS2, and Barter 6 lasted longer in my rotation than most of the stuff on SS3.

I still play Digits alot tho, and With Them kinda

Don't remember this being discussed much last year. But this EP is T.I's best work in years. Hopefully he releases an album of similar quality this year. His collabs with London & Thug are great too.

honestly...i have a version that like 200 words longer but reads a lot better. i dont understand the obsession with cutting things down so much, especially if it hurts the point im trying to make but w/e. hope you guys like it.
