    This won't be a long review. Album was okay. Not my style but still pretty easy to listen to.

    I like the diversity among the albums, each one of them was unique but i'm hoping to find one that finally resonates enough to earn a 8+ rating from me. None of them have quite hit that mark yet. But none of them were bad. Well except.. You know the one

    Paris Texas - Mid Air
    This was another new discovery for me thanks to this club. I’d heard about Paris Texas before because I’m a pretty big lana del rey fan, and for some reason I assumed that soundwise they’d be similar to JPEGMAFIA or BROCKHAMPTON (on a sidenote, I actually have gone to Paris, Texas before. Nothing too special aside from an eiffel tower with a cowboy hat on top)

    I actually really dug this album. Definitely more rock influenced than i expected. I love almost every single instrumental and dear god, these guys are amazing at hooks. The verses were really good too with my favorites being on “Everybody Safe Until” and “Full English”. I’ll definitely check out their debut at some point and I can’t wait to see what they release next.

    This album is everything i hoped for. He really delivered everything on this album. I never realized how talented he really was. Hes a great f---ing singer and can rap his a--- off. Incredible. This is coming from someone who was never a huge fan of his. His last album was all over the place and had no vision. This is very different.

    Final Thoughts:
    "Mid Air" is a new and exciting follow-up from their previous release "BOY ANONYMOUS", which I enjoyed immensely at the time. This time around, the duo shows their versatility with high-quality production that combines powerful beats and reflective, melodic moments. Their energetic and engaging vocal style adds depth to the album, and the lyrics offer a raw and honest mix of personal thoughts and social commentary. Fans of genre-blending music and those looking for something outside the mainstream will find much to appreciate here. While it's certainly isn't perfect, it is however a significant addition to their discography and hints at even greater potential for the future.

    Overall, it's a strong effort from Paris Texas that demonstrates their growth and willingness to take risks.

    its honestly pretty embarrassing to even admit i was like this at a time but i was one of those "real rap" / "f--- mumble rap" fa----s who never ventured into new artists, but in late 2016 --- singlehandedly changed my opinion and opened me up to new s--- because i was in the worst place of my life at the time and i ended up stumbling upon a 30 min sad xxxtentacion mix on youtube, it was so new to me sonically and lyrically but i could relate with everything he was saying and it really made a change because i ended up not killing myself that winter (even after having my suicide note done and written)

    i dont wanna hear any s---, this dude helped so many people (way more than he hurt) and ill cherish that sad mix and his last two albums for the rest of my life, this has also inspired me to get off my a--- and accomplish my dreams, he was a few months younger than me and i admire how much work he was able to put in at such a young age
