I'm getting into it on Twitter because I said that Joe Budden came off as a grumpy old man in the interview. People bringing up stuff about a 360 deal and that's not even the thing I'm focusing on or truly care about fully because I don't know the inner workings of any deals Yachty has made.

Then again this is basically just old head/real hip-hop stans finding another way to go at this new generation of rappers, which is just such a tired and played out argument at this point. Those people forget that back in the day Wu Tang Clan were considered weirdos, Ol Dirty b------ especially. Outkast (most of the Dungeon Family if we had to be real) were considered weird because they didn't fit "traditional hip-hop". MF DOOM even, probably one of the greatest MCs ever is still a f---ing weirdo. Hip-hop has always had its fair share of weird rappers, and they were even weirder or "on some other s---" when they were younger.

So tired of this revisionist hip-hop history s---. You either f--- with artists or don't. Stop trying to pull this "IF PAC AND BIGGIE WERE ALIVE (insert who you think is a trash rapper) WOULD BE WORKING AT MCDONALDS!" s---, it's just corny at this point.

Hip Hop has become such a "safe" genre now.

Too many fans would much rather hear their favourite artist drop 3 projects in one year that sound the same using a tried and tested formula, than listen to an artist that is willing to push boundaries and try something new with each release.
