You're tripping. Cole is just watered down Omen. The only reason any of Cole's projects have been classics is because Omen has been a part of them. The reason Sideline Story and Born Sinner flopped is because Omen didn't make an appearance, whereas The Warm Up, FNL and 2014 FHD has Omen on The Badness, Enchanted and Apparently respectively.

Just know... Omen is a major key for Cole's success.
