The lack of real, substantive diss tracks in battles between mainstream rappers over the last decade is truly concerning, besides like Back to Back and Story of Adidon (which i still think are both massively overrated) these songs and verses are like 95% pointless filler with like 2 or 3 vague lines that are disses, the public eats them up due to marketing. Both Like That and the Control verse are just him saying his music is better than other rappers but with a lot of energy

Pride is the devil is one of the best songs Cole has ever made. Vibe on the track is crazy. Let go my hand also is f---ing flames, lyrics on that are too real. I’m not in a mood to write a long review, but I enjoyed this s---. It isn’t a classic, but is isn’t a snooze fest either. It actually has real diversity unlike his last 2 albums. Will be in my rotation for sure.

I think he tried to distance himself from the social justice warrior image with the whole noname thing. Basically just said he a regular dude, follow her she knows what she’s talking about.

This album is who coles always been. Just a great rapper. I’m happy he decided to take himself less seriously and just get back to competing on the mic.

This s--- boring as h---, but shout out J. Snore for actually speaking his mind and not trying to be a f---ing sheep that everyone wants him to be. I respect that. And I can’t believe someone can have a problem with someone staying off the social media lmao, this new generation bro is crazy. Instagram and Twitter, s--- is a disease. I completely reduced that to a minimum. Kendrick and Cole a real ones for doing the same too.

They all delivered. What a cohesive compilation. The best of the trilogy.

I'm surprised that they aren't some names on the album but I understand. Under the sun, Swerve, Sunset and Sacrifices are my favs.
