"I remember the day I pitch this photo to J.cole I was nervous as f--- ! It was in September and we were on a two week tour of creation for this album. I thought this was the perfect photo for his cover. It took me two days to build up enough confidence to show him 6-7 specific photos I felt stood out to me. But, this one stood out the most of this young boy in Atlanta. I was nervous to sit down with Cole & his manager to discuss my findings in the back of this huge tour bus.
I described to Cole that there was just something about this young boys eyes. Because that day Cole, Scott and I just randomly stumbled upon this neighborhood in Atlanta while shooting footage for something later to come.
This Atlanta neighborhood was just going crazy! People were running out of there house to take a photo of Cole and ask him questions but, their was something to me about this boy and how he kept looking at Cole as he walked around his neighborhood. I can see in his eyes how much this experience is slowly changing his life forever!
The young boys face just stood out to me to capture. I saw in his eyes he knew nothing about J.Cole, but was some what amazed how everyone was reacting to him. The boy even asked Cole several times who he was. But, he couldn't understand what was going on in his world. Cole and I spent hours one night looking for photos for his album but nothing seem to stand out. Then a few days past and I finally found this photo that I felt represented the cover to most to me to pitch to him. Which at the time Cole felt something about this photo as well but wanted to think about it."

15. Bebe Rexha - I Got You

No words, just love it.

14. Enrique Iglesias ft Wisin - Duele El Corazon

Such an amazing summer song. No idea how many times I listened to this one.

13. MØ - Final song / Drum

One of the best singers of 2016 will be up higher in the list as well. Since I couldn't pick, I just went with both of these catchy, great singles.

12. Sia - Cheap Thrills

Version without SP since he doesn't add a d--- thing. Beautiful voice and the beat is amazing. Easily one of my most played songs as well.

11. Kanye West ft. Rihanna - Famous

Not gonna lie, TLOP was a major letdown for me, but this song was a highlight and a great single. Also like the controversial video (f---ing age bs tho)

10. Rihanna ft. Drake - Work

Rihanna sounds like a r----- during the chorus but f--- this is catchy. Hated it at first but after hearing it in the club a few times it grew on me a lot.

9. Fifth Harmony ft. Ty Dolla Sign - Work From Home

Honestly, I love the whole album. But since it's about popular songs this is easily in my top 15. Always puts me in a good mood.

8. Ellie Goulding - Something In The Way You Move

Wanted to pick On My Mind, but it was released as a single before 2016. This song is not any less imo, it shows how great of a singer she really is. Love her voice.

7. Calvin Harris / Rihanna - This Is What You Came For

@Kenneth understands how many emotional baggage this song has. Been on replay non stop this summer. Riri the GOAT

6. Dj Snake ft. Justin Bieber - Let Me Love You

Wonderful collab which shows even more how much Bieber has grown up. Snake always delivers, after Turn Down For What this a win again.

5. The Weeknd ft. Daft Punk - Starboy

It was either this or IFIC, both DP collabs are simply amazing. Weeknd is easily my favorite rnb artist now and I hope he stays true to himself by keep putting out great music. Daft Punk continues to show theirselves as hitmakers.

4. Clean Bandit ft. Anne-Marie & Sean Paul - Rockabye

Their previous single, Tears, was also close. But s--- for a pop song this is pretty serious. And... amazing. Sean Paul doesn't ruin it and actually contributes to this song. It's Anne-Marie & the beat that really make this song to me.

3. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault

What can I say? Zara had a great year. This One's For You, Girls Like, Never Forget You.. her new single is nice too. But this, just.. so much energy both her and the production. Absolutely love this.

2. Chainsmokers ft. Halsey - Closer

Yeah it was a toss up between nr 2 or 1, but f---ing h--- this song is absolutely perfect. This just screams 'love' and the story is so detailed, you almost live it when you hear this song. Again, Chainsmokers good that ur done with dumbass songs. Their whole EP was actually very enjoyable.

1. Major Lazer ft. MØ & Justin Bieber - Cold Water

Song of the year. That beat is perfect, Biebers verses are perfect, and don't get me started on how good that, short unfortunately, MØ part was. Heard it so many times but never, ever gets old.

so usually after giving a blo-jo- or two I get an urge to listen to some lyrical rhymes by my fav rappers. my go to in the past has been 'hello' by weezy f baby but ive been looking for some more music as of late.
