    I think it was a stupid idea to make a sequel to Stan. Stan was an incredible song and Bad Guy didn't live up to the original. Not even close, terrible beat, the change up at the end is cool but how does it fit into "Stan" theme? It wouldn't be on of the worst songs on the album if it wasn't trying to be something that it's not. As a standalone it would be middle of the pack

    I completely agree. I thought I was the only one who hates it. Everyone here seems to love it.

    Yea the beat change and last verse were cool, but I still think that should have been a standalone track, either as the intro or outro to the album.

    I always felt like Stan told the complete story. There's nothing else worth telling afterwards. It has 4 verses, 3 from the crazy fan perspective and 1 from his perspective. His 4th verse is closure to the story. Stan was a metaphor for his real life newfound celebrity, how it scared him, and how people were way to obsessive over him taking his lyrics way too seriously. Unless he was gonna change that narrative with the sequel giving us a new perspective now that he's been famous for over 15 years, what's the point?

    He gave it to us because like %80 of his fans asked for it. I remember the times people were discussing about what Em could say on a record at this point and many wanted Stan 2. I agree the beat wasn't any good but non of the beats Em used on that album was great, most were just ok.
