    Lol @ baseball being such a primitive sport that Barry Bonds, the best player ever to play this boring a--- game, won't get into the hall of fame for using modern medicine to be better at it

    And Pete Rose is also still banned :'(

    eh people complain Baseball is boring, which I can see as theres not a big play every play and with the attention span of today everyone needs instant gratification. But I like it. Basketball is like soccer to me, just a bunch of guys running up and down a court in shorts pretending to get hurt and while I love watching Football, football live in person is one of the most boring sports with all the timeouts. It's way better of a game to watch on tv

    Watching basketball, especially the NBA, can be boring because of the constant stoppages. Literally a foul or some kind of call every 30 seconds which is a pain in the a---. But I haven't been able to sit down and watch a full baseball game in a good 10 years tbh. But I also do have a ridiculously terrible attention span.

    I love baseball, but the games definitely do get long and boring some times. When im watching games at my house i usually got something else going on, where im not completely focused on the game.

    I will watch every Sox game im able too, but i cant watch a random game between two other teams like the Yanks and Tigers or something like that, where as i can in all the other major sports. To me the Steroid ERA was the best era in baseball, most exciting anyways. Should bring all substances back tbh.

    Should definitely allow all banned substances, I was all in on Big Mac and Sosa in '98

    I still follow it loosely and would consider myself a Braves fan, but not even a bandwagon one because they make the playoffs all the time and I still don't watch. But I can have it on in the background and keep a general knowledge of what's going on in baseball cuz i like sports I guess.

    I don't think steroids should be allowed under any circumstances, the possible side effects of them are really awful and possibly life threatening. Why should all players be forced to take them to be on the same level as those who do?

    Men who take anabolic steroids may:

    • Develop breasts
    • Get painful erections
    • Have their testicles shrink
    • Have decreased sperm count
    • Become infertile
    • Become impotent
    • Get acne
    • Have an oily scalp and skin
    • Get yellowing of the skin (jaundice)
    • Become bald
    • Have tendon rupture
    • Have heart attacks
    • Have an enlarged heart
    • Develop significant risk of liver disease and liver cancer
    • Have high levels of "bad" cholesterol
    • Have mood swings
    • Fly into rages
    • Suffer delusions

    There are risks involved with any supplement, but as science and thus the medical field advances, "steroids" and things like HGH are becoming safer and safer. With millions of dollars and access to the best trainers in the world, it's pretty f---ing easy to safely use steroids. You can f--- yourself up from eating too much salt too.

    we are just so incosistant. 1 year the braves will be great but then the next year we will be down. Im glad we Got Frank Wren out of the GM office though. I feel like he has made some of the most r-----ed trades of all time like the Teixeira trade. But yes baseball can get boring but the thing i love about baseball is the mental aspect to it.

    Just finished both of Jose Canseco's books and they give a lot of good info on the whole steroid era. Lots of stuff I didn't know, I recommend them to anyone who follows baseball

    Anyway, it was a very good group of guys who got into the HOF this year. Glad to see Randy Johnson getting in with such a high percentage in his first year, he had such a great career. And he's going into the HOF as a D'back (I've lived in AZ since before the years of his D'backs stints :))
