I know that H20 is basically a Scream Halloween but I always liked it

This one though.... man I really hope the trailer description isn't accurate.

And I just realized I never answered you on the remakes. Hated them. I hate Rob Zombie. He did his white trashonization of Halloween and just f---ing lol. He should have been killed for that because I thought it was literally impossible to make a bad Halloween. But, yeah, he did. f--- Rob Zombie.

I agree. d-ck Warlock wasn’t nearly as good as Nick Castle. He moved so f---ing slow lol. He looked like an animatronic. Like when Michael was walking towards Laurie when she was trying to get into the house he was walking like full speed. When Michael was chasing her through the hospital in 2 he was moving like a snail lol. Also his kills were way too quick. His kills in the original were disturbing because you see him slowly killing his victims in detail (with that eerie breathing sound and Carpenter’s music cues). In 2 I can name a few kills that only last a second or two. Also you’re given no reason to feel bad for the victims. They’re just there for Michael to k--- them. This is where I hope the new film doesn’t f--- up. 2 is still the best sequel to me but it clearly has flaws.

Really not a fan of the decision to ignore part 2. Movie was a classic.

Also Strangers 2 will be fire.

Well boys I went ahead and picked this up.

Figured why not. It was $40 at Walmart which is a steal. Plus it has tons of bonus features that I’ve never seen. @Michael Myers

    Real one.

    Truth.

    Hilarious indeed.

These posts about H20 and my rewatch made me consider Halloween 4 >>>>>>>> H20.

Sentiment of H20 was great but the fact that Michael used to k--- highly trained men ans now a middle aged woman kicks his a---... hmm. Also that campus setting was terrrrible. Haddonfield was a nice town, with all the Halloween elements that made the other movies good (even tho 5 and 6 s----d at least the Halloween vibe was there) made H20 pretty bad. Thoughts? I only have 1 and 2. I would buy the whole set but honestly, I would never rewatch half of them.

I'm not as in love with it as the most, but I think it's solid. The camerawork grew on me the second time around. Those 360 shots seem so indulgent, but they really do work at building anticipation as to what could enter the frame and remaining cognoscente as to how much of your surroundings you can't see at one time. I still think opening with one kind of defeats the purpose they come to serve later though.

Mitchell's debut The Myth of the American Sleepover is pretty good too if you like those teen lit coming of age flicks. I think it does a better job at building characters whereas It Follows is a movie built around a gimmick that doesn't lend much diversity to how the scenes play out. At least it's a good gimmick.

    Like 2013 - 2017

I haven't watched much newer ones, but I'm looking for some scary/creepy ones.

    Some movies I did see:

    Babadook
    Conjuring 1
    Insidious 3

    I liked these 3 a lot.

Some movies I dlded but haven't seen yet:

    It Follows
    Nerve
    Neon demon
    Starry eyes
    Conjuring 2
