Oct 29, 2021 Might have to rewatch 3, I just remember all them nasty insects lol Kills had good parts, but also some weird ideas. Still kinda fun though, just disappointing.
Oct 29, 2021 Halloween Halloween 2 H20 Halloween 2018 Halloween 6 Halloween Ressurection Halloween 4 Halloween 5 Halloween Kills Zombie's films = H3
Oct 30, 2021 Sorry I missed this lol. Haven't seen GOT but I know what u mean; they say "HA! Things are not what they seem!!" And then eventually its exactly that lol
Oct 30, 2021 Oh agree. They should leave it like, he can't die but we dunno why. It just surprises me that he has always been superhumand and now suddenly people trash HK for it.
Oct 30, 2021 I like the concept. Also wish John Carpenter went with the idea of having a new halloween movie every year. Execution of H3 was kinda lame but it was fine. However, agree w you and @jankland that H2 was very boring. It was save by the amazing soundtrack but the hospital scenes didn't do it for me. HK was ok, agree.
Oct 30, 2021 I'm really curious what makes u like Ressurection and 6 bro. I mean, not saying 4, 5, and HK are that good but man Ressurection completely ruined H20 and Busta Rhymes was the worst s--- ever lol. And 6 yeah I can see the good parts of it, but that s-----y cult s---.. mehh.
Oct 30, 2021 Don’t know if any of you lot knew but a new Paranormal Activity film dropped… watched it the other night, not bad but not great. Definitely not on the level as the first couple imo. Any other good horrors out atm? I’ve got a boring day today, so I’m looking for recs for tonight.
Oct 30, 2021 Has anyone here seen Behind The Mask? I’ve been recommended a couple of times now. Heard it was a great take on the slasher film
Oct 30, 2021 From what a gathered I don't know if it's exactly horror but I wanna see last night in Soho
Oct 30, 2021 Antlers also came out and if del toros name is attached then I'm interested. Btw has anyone watched lamb? I was interested in it from the trailer

Oct 31, 2021 Yooo don’t you dare diss Hubie Halloween. Adam Sandler played the perfect r----- in that s---. How the h--- u find the time to watch all those? I’m jealous.
Oct 31, 2021 That g.d. accent ruined it for me lmao..but I gotta say, they perfectly captured the Halloween spirit, which to me is most important. Fun movie overall. Well lmao when had a day off and the weather was s-----y (which was a few times) I watched like 4 or 5 a day. Today and yesterday included. So honestly it looks like I got time everyday but nah. Watched more this year than last though, but left out a few essentials this year (the ring, texas chainsaw massacre, scream, the thing etc) they gonna be for next year. Now its on to the last few, halloween classics Tales of Halloween, Trick r Treat & Halloween 1. Followed by HK. Curious how it held up since 2 weeks ago I saw it in the theatre.
Oct 31, 2021 So, Halloween Kills. There are a few things very obvious to me: Halloween 2018 made Michael return, and Halloween Ends is where he, and probably Laurie too, will die. Then the writers had to come up with material for the middle movie.... and it clearly shows. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. Lets start at the beginning. Hawkins was clearly dead lol. But they decided to keep him alive for his flashback story. And that was a great thing. Loved how they re-created that 1978 style, Michaels old style, the chase around the neighborhood. Also think they did an awesome job w Loomis. Yeah his voice could have been better but glad they didn't just had some hologram or other technolgy here and just made someone look like him. The first 12 minutes are so f---ing good. The second thing they did is bringing back characters (and actors) from the first movie. They sit around in a bar talking about what happened. It was fun to see Marion, but I don't remember her being from Haddonfield? It was kinda weird having her there with the locals. I did like the Lindsey flasbacks to Halloween 1 and 2 -also, didn't H2 got de-canonized-? Then its back to where part 1 (or actually 2) left off. For the rest of the movie I feel like there is too much going on. So many back and forth. Just like in H2018 I gotta say, Andi (Alyson) and Jude (Karen) do an AMAZING job. Love their acting and characters. I also think, and that is important to me, the Halloween spirit is in here. Love that. The kills were a lot more violent, but aside from Cameron and that drone guy (six knives in him, which was a little too much) that didn't really bother me. His killings got way more violent in the other sequels as well. The whole taking out the firesquad scene and the mob at the end were a little too much Jason Voorhees style for me though. So I'm not really happy with that. Why did they change him in such an angry person driven by emotion? In H1 he was emotionless, now he's staging crime scenes, stabbing people that are already dead? Knocking on the door and running to the other side?? That kind of bs is so not him. I know he did the same in H20 w that girl but still. Then the supporting characters; it was fun to see them back, but I wish there was more purpose to them. Marion got back only to get killed after her gun chocked lol. I wanted to say killed again but forgot H20 didn't excist here. Tommy Doyle returned as the leader of the g--- but also the most annoying character in the whole movie. Remember that scared little p---- from part 1? I said this earlier, I liked Paul Rudds version in H6 waay much. Dude was so awful here lol. And, H6 Tommy thought; 'hey if I cant k--- him, maybe just destroy his body and cut off his head so he cant do s---'... but here, an entire group of people hits the man with a bat and wooden sticks, did they forget he got shot, stabbed and burned already?? My god how stupid. Bracket too, fun to see him but he had that one 'everyone's entitled to one good scare' (haha!) and he's killed lol. Lindsey is the only one I did like; she was brave but still terrified, as anyone in their right mind would be. Why the f--- would you chase him around after knowing what he's capable off? I really hope she gets a good part in HE as well and doesn't get killed easily. So, Tommy was in this movie way too much. Then the writers thought; lets make Halloween Kills even bigger than it should be! And they created this whole angry mob story. Its obvious they wanted to add in some riots because of everything that happened in US. "The system failed" Laurie said. Angry people killing an innocent man, making them all monsters. It was so painfully obvious. The poor umbrella man, also a storyline that did not add anything to the Halloween franchise. They should have kept it smaller. This angry town people chasing Myers isn't new: in Halloween 4 we saw Earl and the g--- do the same. They also got killed, but it was a lot more fun and effective than hundreds of losers screaming 'evil dies tonight' lol. It was clearly a '2020' thing they wanted to add. I did like them looking for Myers in small groups and the movie had a lot of scenes I did like; The couple being pranked by those kids. Their deaths were a little corny (little john? Yes big john!) was funny one time but not 5 or 6 times. Also liked the silver shamrock masks and that scene with lindsey/marion/the doctors. The flasbacks as I said, and almost every scene that had Karen or Andy in it. Except the very last... I already knew she would die but man that s----d. Laurie was a side character here, but thats no surprise. Part 3 will be about Laurie and Michael, HK was for side stories and other characters to shine. Some of them did, some clearly didn't. Honestly, how Halloween Ends will turn out is important for how I feel about this movie. If Michael goes for a Jason rampage, like some Zombie killer, keep. But if he stays (sort of) human and eventually dies as a human, I'm fine. As I said at the start, this was such an obvious 'middle' movie. It didn't move the story along really, I just hope they don't go too much in a different direction w his character. If they got rid of the angry mob bs and kept it more small and simple, I would have loved this movie. Honestly would have loved that they brought a small group and make them work together to eventually k--- Michael (Bracket, Marion, Tommy, Lindsey, the Strode women). So basically, what happened here but then as the final ending, w Laurie cutting his body in pieces after they beat him up. But it will probably be one person killing him.... sad. All of this rambling aside, it did stuck with me. So this is definitely not the last watch. I hope they do this justice in part 3 (4) ! Music was again gr8 btw! Probably 6/10 for me as of now. @BIGFOOT @Marsh @ComfortablyNumb @Judas Black @jankland @Tom Brady @M Solo
Oct 31, 2021 I'm guessing he was testing knives until he found the one he liked lol. My favorite k--- was Marion she went out like a real one it was a bit funny though. I think HK is one of the best ones, but I expected more than this. And making him "impossible to k---" lowers my hype for the next one. Even though I think he's weak without the mask, guess that's how he will die. Laurie is bout to be mad as f--- when she finds out her daughter is dead . Really hope Halloween Ends will save the trilogy.
