Apr 9, 2025 Yeah people forget Thunderbolts is the first MCU project made after the WGA strikes. Deadpool, Daredevil and Brave new world all had reshoots and were delayed several months due to the strikes in 2023. And marvel was smart to only release Deadpool last year to secure quality control. That’s why Fantastic four was filmed and produced in under a year and actually looks like a film and not a rushed mess.

Apr 10, 2025 so my projections were spot on. $70M is good for these characters, but Marvel usually opens the summer movie season with a big hit. I can see this having way better legs in theaters than Cap 4. In the $500M range, with good word of mouth it could do up to $700Mish. Idk why the trades are comparing the numbers to Deadpool, guardians and Thor summer openings… obviously those are gonna be $100M openers cuz they are main Avengers A list level hero’s.
Apr 11, 2025 200 movies have dropped theatrically this year. Not Disney fault nobody wants to watch Mickey 17 flop or Snow White. Or the dozen of indie film. Sinners looks good. Maybe that can make $100M. But no other studio this year other then Minecraft even pass the $200M mark. Marvel stays on top. Also they are both Disney films, so they win in the end. Also they have avatar and fantastic four this year. Once again Marvel is gonna have 3 movies in the top 10 grossing films of the year.
