Jan 11, 2025 Marsh, I see your point with things every now and then, but…what?? i want reviews, but not from people going to see the movie in theaters??? so you don’t want reviews while it’s in theaters, you want them when the movie comes to Disney+ or digital? what makes that work
Jan 11, 2025 Yes, it quite literally is This is Hollywood They don’t care about some random nerd like you opinion. They care about the mass audience opinion and box office.money runs the industry at the end of the day. What are you talking about? First you say rotten tomatoes are fake, and then you say money don’t matter. So if the critics, general public, and Box office don’t matter… what now?
Jan 11, 2025 Marsh running out of logic again. Cuz what is he even talking about? He don’t want reviews about the movie from people paying to see it in theaters? Like what?!!
Jan 11, 2025 Man, it’s crazy when you think about how basically every S80 member just takes turns dunking on Marsh lol
Jan 11, 2025 everytime people call a movie a classic at the movies the reviews at home are way lower. I was excited to see Longlegs because of yhe reviews and when it hit the digital market that s--- was so boring and I went check what people were saying and everyone was now saying it was nothing special. Happens so often.
Jan 11, 2025 I’m always trying to see bro’s point but I’ve never heard someone say they don’t wanna hear reviews from people going to see the movie in a theater
Jan 11, 2025 I’d get your point if it was people going to the premieres and s--- but I just can’t agree People will definitely make their opinion known if a movie is s-----y when they see it in theaters, tickets are over $20 a piece now then with concessions that’s at least another $15 (these prices are assuming you are a casual movie goer without any pass i.e. Regal Unlimited), people are always taking a gamble going to the movie with these prices knowing d--- well the movie could be s---.
Jan 11, 2025 Yes, casual movie goers tend to be more generous with their reviews because they probably do not see many movies in the theaters, but if they pay over $30 for a trip to a s-----y movie, they will make it known lol People who go to the movies more will also be honest because they know how movies stack up compared to other movies that have released around the same time Sure, in the case of a movie like No Way Home where a hyped up audience makes the movie experience better, there can be some discussion there. Otherwise, most movies do not fall into that category.
Jan 11, 2025 Plenty of the movies are rated way to high, and I’m ralking bout people, not websites. Then people watch it at home and you see what it really is lol way worse than they said.
Jan 12, 2025 Just in; Captain America Brave New World is expected to open with $86M-$95M Dom! 170M-200M opening weekend. Incoming Success
Jan 12, 2025 Yeah my city’s theaters is like $25 per ticket. I remember growing up they use to be $5-$7 at the most. Lol
Jan 12, 2025 Rotten tomatoes is literally regular people and movie critics. Lmfao your entire argument is once again flawed
Jan 12, 2025 I don't care lol just check the reviews for the movies before they hit digital and after, way different lol like I said, here you have three examples, Longlegs, Alien and Furiosa, 3 boring a--- movies considered great by people who went see them
