    use household objects.
-good tricep workout is to use a stable chair or a step -- put sit down in front of the step/chair, extend your legs outward, put your palms on the step/chair and push your body up, repeat.
    -pushups
-declined pushups, placing your feet on a couch
-you can do all kinds of core form home, so long as you don't have wood floors everywhere in your house (even then, there's plenty of moves you can do without laying on your back)
    -single-leg deadlifts
    -single-leg squats
-get a pull-up bar and fasten it to your doorframe
    -burpees
    -jump rope
-etc... you can expand further if you have dumbbells at your house too.

most of the stuff i do in the gym doesn't require fancy or large equipment and theoretically, i could do a good 50% from my home if i wanted to.

Could buy a medicine ball. Do some single leg work with it & sits up & other core work with it too.

Well advised. Wasn't expecting jumping rope to lead anywhere. Personally, avoid the gym.

Not too sure how i feel about the S'mores Quest Bars
They have the chunks similar to the C&C, Cookie Dough, and Choc Chunk Bars
Seems like the bar itself is marshmallow flavored with chocolate and graham cracker pieces and choc chunks
All in all a good flavor but still behind C&C, cookie dough, but probably like it more than double choc chunk just for the variety in flavor it has

Bodybuilding.com has Combat Crunch bars BOGO today only. I'm a fan of Quest bars so if these are comparable in any way, $30 for 24 bars is a great deal.

Thank you for this. I've been debating ordering them because the reviews are completely mixed. There's been no middle ground really it's either "they're the best bar to date!" or "they're disappointing". I'm not wasting money on a box of bars that potentially s--- so I'll wait until GNC gets a box.

It's crazy to think 3-4 of these bars has been my dinner for over 2 years now.

Only reason i went for the box was because of the Cyber Monday deal. Otherwise i just grab ones i haven't tried from GNC.
S'mores definitely isn't a bad bar, just maybe not as mind blowing as when they dropped C&C

also @Ryan idk if you pulled the trigger on the Crunch Bars but go with the Cookie Dough out of the two flavors flavor but don't be expecting a Quest like bar. Kind of has an artificial aftertaste.
MusclePharm basically is just continuing with its trend of subpar products

I did pull the trigger. 24 bars for $32 was too good to pass up on. Don't care if they are mediocre, they'll be good when I bulk after Christmas.

Anyone try Shock'D before? I was looking for good pre-workout supplements and I have been meaning to switch it up for a while now. I have been on a C4 cycle for on and off for about a good year and half now I have tried Assault.

Pre workout supplements are a waste . I just have a cup of coffee before weightlifting.

    questions re: protein powder --

when's the best time to have your protein drinks/shakes? i've been doing 1 mid-day, 1 post-workout, but am considering switching to 1 early morning, 1 post-workout, and then 1 at night using casein protein. heard casein is a slower absorption and good for overnight. thoughts?

I've been hitting the gym for about 3 years now. I got sponsored by Nutrishop last year & I'm soon to compete on stage around early next year for men's physique. If ya'll got any questions about health & fitness, I'm glad to give advice or tips, etc.

Heard the same, caseïn seems better for overnight. That's why I eat low-fat quark before I go to bed.

Whenever I have protein shakes I drink them post-workout and sometimes as a "cheat-meal" sort of thing, when heavy protein foods weren't easily accessible/i was too lazy to cook lol. was only rare though, not often.

Here's some results so far, took this around mid December. It took me forever to see results on my legs. I'm squatting & deadlifting 300+ pounds as of now & its starting to pay off slowly.
