    The Hispanic barber Chico is a NYC rapper named Sene. He's down with YC The Cynic/Kemba, is affiliated with Blu. I own one of his albums and I've seen him around before but never saw him perform live. This is a good look for him.

    finished it s--- was mad consistent throughout really wasnt any weak episodes which has haunted JJ and DD some. The msucial camoes were one awesome addition that was unexpected. dont want spoil plots points so ill just finish by saying i loved how they ended the season

    Slick reference to Jamel Shabazz in episode 2. Jamel is a photographer who used to take pics of people in the hood in the 80s. His photos really helped define 80s NYC street fashion.

    Another Hip Hop reference- Dapper Dan. He actually makes a cameo on the show. He used to run a shop in Harlem that tailored a lot of outfits for rappers, d--- dealers and regular people. All of those crazy Gucci, LV jumpsuits/jackets that artists like LL and Rakim would wear were done by him. Netflix is really bringing Hip Hop into TV land. HBO tried a little bit with Vinyl but that failed.

    I just finished the 4th episode. It's awesome thus far. It's kinda crazy how different Cottonmouth is from Remy Danton (His role on House of Cards, another Netflix show).

    I love the fact that they are keeping everything in the Marvel universe that began with Iron Man...

    Now I've seen all of JJ, and DD, but Claire (the nurse from Daredevil) mentions watching a guy survive a shotgun blast to the head, who was she talking about?

    i binged watched the entire season the day after it came out and while i liked it overall, i'm incredibly disappointed by the later half of the season.

    essentially, once
    stokes dies
    and diamondback is introduced, the show just nosedived on me

    season finale was ehhhhh but overall i enjoyed this quite a bit, love the all black cast :allears:

    i'll definitely take the first half over the second half and cottonmouth died way too soon. got so sick of seeing shades & maria smh

    still looking forward to a series renewal

    shoutout that jewish lawyer from the wire lol
