Jun 12, 2015 lmao 1) that wasnt a quote, it was an example of how discussion usually go. case in point, final's own comments a few posts up. 2) you weren't arguing it would "take a second" for people to get him, you were arguing that its noones fault but thugs that people don't warm up to him -- its not. 3) him not explaining is actually the best defense you could've gave me -- BECAUSE he doesnt explain s---, and doesnt intend to, it takes more effort on the part of the listener. That's like saying Kobe is unique, even though he modeled a majority of his game after MJ. Have you listened to prime Wayne music? Drought 1-4. Dedication 1-3, No Celings, and Tha Carter 1-3 are SO much better than anything Thug has ever made. That's not even a knock on Thug, just a testament to how great Wayne was.

That he started out making records that were clearly, nauseatingly, biting Wayne's style, but he was able to use that creative energy to create a style thats literally unlike any we've ever heard before. even if u can trace remnants of a few specific wayne-isms. thugs on the same warpath as wayne for anyone paying attention. has almost 300 records to his name at the age of 22 lol. over like 50% are genuinely great/unique/etc and the majority of the 50% that arent, were made when he couldnt even legally buy a pack of bogies lol
