    tbh I saw that thread and he was definitely antagonized and wasn’t “racism baiting” at all.

    but a mod having an obvious clique and picking sides based on that IS a bad look for any forum, at least you have that right.

    p.s. that Tom McDonald track was s--- but reservoirgod made it too toxic otherwise to discuss the track.

    Just saying that you need to make sure you’re not being biased with your moderating decisions. If someone who hasn’t been here very long can pick up on it, it’s not as subtle as you’d like to believe.

    Wishing you success, but JMG is not the only one to blame in this situation.

    I've banned two people since I've been admin:
    1. faultmatrix for multiple times obvious reasons. All he did was spam and ruin threads with nonsense.
    2. JMG for three days for doing exactly what we had a conversation about not doing. He basically doesn't ever post music threads and of course posted one about a rapper loved by racist grifters. And yes Res went headfirst into JMG's trap.

    So who are you talking about?

    nah, I know you’re new to the mod role, and I’m not trying to say you’re bad at it or anything. Was just letting you know how things may be perceived.

    Looks like Michael Myers has it figured out. But faultmatrix was definitely an obvious ban, no doubt.

    edit: not needing to name others because it’s not relevant, don’t want anyone to feel called out. If you want more specifics I would be more than happy to discuss it in a dm, but the point has been realized here.

    I didn't ban Res because he wasn't the one who was posting race bait and transphobic/homophobic things in the thread. He was calling out JMG for it. JMG knows exactly why he was banned lol.

    No, I banned you because I'd spent a lot of time talking with you (and to the forum at large) about this stuff in general and I'm tired of the same s--- happening over and over. Tom Macdonald doesn't upset me, I don't think about him at all. I didn't even look at the thread til the next day because I got reports. Whether or not you actually like the song, the thread was bait and devolved into stuff like this:
    I'm tired of that bleeding into music threads especially.

    I know I'm not perfect but I genuinely try my best not to take sides and call situations as I see them. I defended you numerous times the past month when people were calling for you to be banned. I pointed out the hypocrisy of people who are keen to egg you on when you're going at other members but cry about it when they enter your crosshairs during a beef. I defended you when people were blaming s--- on you that you didn't do like the banner changes.

    and obviously I took this avy as a joke because it upset people, there's no hidden motivation here lol.
