    Because you have experience in computers your points do have weight.

    I will say that there is a difference between a VPN company and a VPN owned by that country. A public VPN company does keep tabs on you as a person because you have to pay them a monthly fee and all of the servers they have they do control. Private Internet Access and ProXPN cannot be used easily for tampering because they're too public but countries could make a private VPN network where you can cover tracks effectively.

    Much of the darkweb and the darker sides of the web can often be found in sites where technical expertise is en masse such as Russia and while there are various other countries. Russia has basically integrated scams into their public culture and to me that makes them the most prominent.

    Anybody can use a proxy but it takes real pros to set up a proxy that is in multiple countries and is secure and anonymous as f---. Linux makes it very easy for you to do that thanks to programs like dante-server and squid. That is exactly what I have done and I'm pretty sure anybody can use Linux to set up some truly f----- up s---.

    It's a group but it's a group of people who I have history with way before SXN80. I did basically the same thing I tried to do with my rap career, appeal to them but it turns out they don't want people like me who can do unique s---; they either want idiots or people who are willing to believe in the cause.

    They were basically alt-right (before it was a thing) broadcasters but they hid it so well that nobody could notice their true intentions, not even me.

    I could use the block function but then again, I didn't find any follower that appeared as if they were a part of a group when I was on Twitter. Twitter allows you to look at your replies using just a Twitter account without even having to follow the person. Facebook and Instagram mostly everything was public but I keep a pretty tight friends list on Facebook and very few are connected to this group of people. In fact I removed 1 person who I found out was connected to that group; I had kept that person out of a false belief that we had a friendship, guess not...

    The only way they could stop watching me is if I made everything private which I did for Facebook and Instagram. I checked my followers and my friends and I'm pretty certain no one has connections to this group of people.

    I'm not concerned about the government but I am concerned about the actions of my ISP and my cellphone provider who are likely to take the easy way out and legally sell my data (thank you republicans) just so they can get some quick cash. That data and the stuff I provide on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Reddit/whatever can allow companies to form a profile in which to sell me targeted as f--- advertising; humans are susceptible, they think they can resist advertising until they click on something that they want. That's why info is valuable these days, because advertisers can spend less and earn more.

    It's an actual company... They helped pass Brexit and get Trump elected.

    How do you know, have you been to Russia?
    like c'mon, how can a Country which is pretty rampant with poverty be the forefront of hacking in the digital age? it's ridiculous.

    also what do you mean, by russia has integrated scams into their public culture? you mean like Asian countries, like Thailand and such, that exploit foreigners on vacation with corrupt police who will say "give money or go jail" ?
    Indian markets, where people will "pull rocks out of your ears for a small fee of $100 USD' ?

    I know what CA is, it's dumb and doesn't work because
    - They worked initially on Ted Cruz's campaign (that went reeeeeal well)
    - They have no way of knowing the mental health of someone posting online anonymously, for them to gather accurate data.

    like if you read the s--- you linked me;
    they can hit me with as much targeted advertising as they want and i wont care. if i see an ad i immediately dismiss whatever it is, even if it looks cool. it's an ad, i'm a human. If i see a product i want, i don't have to click an ad, i can go to google and search for the product. It honestly just looks like you're getting worked up over nothing.
