Sep 12, 2017 You sound way paranoid bro - Kyle Smith SSN 375-32-3831 PIN# 4223 Mother's maiden name Belvedere (Don't worry I got my insta on private )
Sep 12, 2017 i took ur advise and now feel much more safe, thanks ''KPT'' *wink wink* (its tpk backwards, so the feds doesn't know u are tpk) but i have a problem. I want to have video SEX with girlfriend, but i have taped my webcam so the feds dont see me. but if i remove the tape to show my gf ''a good time'' *wink wink*, they see me aswell. help @Autistic Meme
Sep 12, 2017 I created this thread to see if there's anybody like me who take privacy seriously, guess not... I mean how hard is it to route everything through a proxy/VPN/whatever and basically not give all of your habits/history to anybody? I've done it... @Jacuzzi Just do it through a VPN/Proxy, all they can see is that one server and it's not like they can tap into a video conversation... Most video conversations are encrypted and it would take a real foolish company to leave theirs unencrypted. Plus as Oliver Stone's Snowden suggests, there are a lot of backdoors that can be used to spy on you. The US government really is pressuring tech companies to include backdoors in the guise of "security". I wouldn't tape your webcam... I'd just unplug it or find a software solution to prevent the webcam from being detectable by the computer and then plug it in anytime you want to chat or have video sex. @Loyalty I know I sound paranoid but I'm living in a world where anything that I do could be harmful (as shown when Russia influenced the f--- out of the election) so yeah... best be paranoid than to be taken advantage of.
Sep 12, 2017 hey Gavin. I'm curious as to if anything can truly be private. I have set up a SOCKS/HTTP proxy server and I'm routing everything through there but is there such thing as privacy from a technical viewpoint?
Sep 12, 2017 In theory your ISP will always know everything you're doing online. (this is not preventable even with a VPN your ISP can view some encrypted IP connections.) There's some ISP's in Europe which claim they don't store such information, the truth behind this is probably very fuzzy. I think if you use various Proxy methods + VPN's and a Ghost Deck on Tor you're pretty much no longer view able to anyone.
Sep 12, 2017 So even if I used a SOCKS5 proxy server running debian, they'll still be able to sniff that info? d---. Well that's going to be expensive since the free proxies are unreliable and not secure and the VPNs are expensive (since they have multiple servers in various countries). I've used Tor but that's slow and restrictive. (since a lot of sites block Tor and those that don't treat those using Tor as third-world people; I know Tor users have to solve multiple captchas repeatedly because of Tor.) I don't know about the big sites but the VPS I use and pay for I trust because I have a relationship with them and it's not a big company. It may change in the future but for now I trust them and it's the only thing I have right now...
Sep 12, 2017 Go on BlackHatWorld and look for the ScrapeBox proxie threads (like 70,000 of them for 10.00)
Sep 12, 2017 Well god d---... Privacy is like a game of whack-a-mole. I'm experienced with proxy hunting since I did some of that in 2008 but there is a lot of hassle just to find a working proxy that is anonymous and works. I'm pretty sure it has gotten better but the hassle is still there, go through a lot of proxies just to find a couple of good ones that may last you for a week or so before they go offline. The lifespan of these proxies are really short and setting it and forgetting it is going to be hard as f--- due to the volatile nature of the darker parts of the internet. (EDIT: Also the location part of it too. There are very few US proxies to scrape; a lot of them are foreign proxies that will raise red flags and make content watching hard as f---.) Holy f---. I don't know if my ISP can gather a lot of info but the fact that they can even sniff a SOCKS5 proxy connection is scary.
Sep 12, 2017 If you don't want your privacy public. Don't make one at all. People have a way to get in any where, a proxy hiding your privacy isn't gonna save you
Sep 12, 2017 I took that into consideration. I have to do stuff in real life that's going to be hard and expensive as f--- but it needs to be done.
Sep 12, 2017 well that's a bit stupid. Russians "hacked the emails to influence the elections" by literally saying "hey president I am your brother ____ remember me? please click this link to verify your government credentials at this legit website www.officialUSAg0vernm3nt.net" so it wasn't really a hack, just Russians taking advantage of American stupidity. are you becoming involved politically and scared someone may dig up your online info and use it to tarnish your image? genuinely curious as to what you're doing in life where you need this type of protection.
Sep 12, 2017 Exactly... Russians are the best internet trolls in existence. Not only do they know how to take advantage of American stupidity but they also know how to age accounts (to make them look legitimate) and basically use those accounts to manipulate social media opinion through comments, sharing, Twitter mentions, upvotes/downvotes (for reddit/voat apparently) and creation of content. They also know how to make the best fake news sites. A lot of what Russia does mainly is social engineering meaning taking advantage of peoples suspectability and making them do anything from inputting information to inserting a USB drive with a virus that'll gain them access to the system. They already tarnished my image and I've recently discovered that they're also stalking me on the internet; they're not harassing me directly but they are injecting themselves into my public conversations and convincing people I'm something that I am not. That's why I made my Facebook and Instagram accounts private; it's also the reason why I'm retiring my rap career. I'm not seeking protection, I'm seeking a way so that they can't easily find me and continue the cycle of harassment. I know I'm on many government programs (especially Social Security) but I'm not concerned with the government more than I am with the people who are harassing me. EDIT: I also don't want Cambridge Analytica and similar companies to find out what my personality is so they can try and convince me for some anterior motive.
Sep 12, 2017 this stuff was ground breaking maybe 10-20 years ago. it's now the tactics that pinoy/brazilian/russians use to exploit games/game related software off unsuspecting users. it's literally video game tier scams. the claims that russia tampered with the elections via faux websites and by brainwashing social media are loose allegations. Like you said above, you got VPN's that would point out you are in a different country. Wouldn't a super power like say... China, do all this s---, then use a another countries VPN to try cover their tracks? (for example using a russian VPN). there isn't evidence, because you can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the man behind the computer was a russian, in russia, working for the russian government. it's fear mongering bs. who is "they" ? is it one person, or a group? could you give an example of something they have done? but this person following you or whatever, why not just block delete? maybe they will find you again and make a new account to bypass, but just block delete again, they'll stop eventually. u are 1 out of 1 billion Americans. The government does not give a f--- about you. pfsssh. implying some data analyst program can tell the difference between sarcasm/satire/trolling/serious discussion from an anonymous, faceless internet user.
Sep 12, 2017 I'm saying that your operating system, and possibly many other things such as drivers gather data
