    To be fair, compare their first 12 years

    Kobe Bryant - 11 playoff appearances, 3 NBA Championships, 4 NBA Finals appearances
    LeBron James - 10 playoff appearances, 2 NBA Championships, 6 NBA Finals appearances

    That's a very misleading stat though. LeBron can be on autopilot and still make it to the finals because of how pathetic the East is. Kobe had to go through an extremely competitive West (one that included the Spurs dynasty) every year.

    EDIT: Im a goof, I meant to put 4 finals appearances for Kobe.

    I guess that makes sense, Kobe lost to the Malone/Stockton Jazz, Championship Spurs x2, Championship Pistons, and the Suns twice.

    LeBron lost to the Pistons, Championship Spurs x2, Championship Celtics, Orlando Magic, Big 3 Celtics, and the Championship Mavericks.
