Nov 12, 2017 Spatula, cringe, eddie and a couple of the other top stans have been PMing me asking for a review so what the h---. Yes it's true I listened to the song once when it came out and that was it, that doesn't mean I hate it cuz I don't..but I just can't get too excited either way bout new Em right now. But it was better than I expected, no awful lines that I recall and the overall message and emotion was good, covered some interesting topics...but the delivery and flow was awful, as others have mentioned. Overall Em just doesn't sound good, I liked the piano and Beyonce was fine on the chorus, although nothing amazing to me either. Overall...a 6 or 7/10..I can see why some would like it if they feel what he's saying, but also can see why others would hate it if they can't take Em's delivery or flow.
Nov 12, 2017 my biggest issue with the flow was it sounded like he wrote half that with s-----y adlibs in mind, maybe even recorded them... cause there's a lot of gaps in between lines where I'm expecting one cause it's typical Em at this point.. or some kind of "...GET IT!?" moment, but it doesn't come (thankfully)... the problem is now there's just these weird f---ing pauses for nothing instead
