Nov 6, 2019 I don't get the lack of interest in this project by some. This is one of the GOATS in hip-hop who was about to retire after this project. That alone makes me want to hear the type of topics he had planned for his final go around. I bet Em has many more songs he created for King Mathers that are on the same level as Careful What You Wish For, Beautiful, My Darling, The Apple, It's Been Real, Everything, Hip-Hop, and Difficult. That dark period definitely sparked some more gems out of the man.
Nov 6, 2019 Solid list but I would take out Careful what you wish for since it was recorded in 08-09 and King Mathers would of been released in 2007 also My Darling wouldn’t be on there. 50 Ways was recorded in 03 Difficult in 08 he had more tracks in 2007 that would of been on King Mathers

Nov 8, 2019 Very true. Em makes probably hundreds of songs for each album. We don't even truly know if any of those songs would've actually made KM. We just know they were all recorded for it. Though think its safe to assume that Hip Hop and Its Been Real would've been on it officially as its clear they are in order for the end of the album.

I remember hearing the radio phone interview back in 2007 where he mentioned specifically "working on my final album" and the line in Castle "I'll put out this last album then I'm done with it". Sure sounds like a King Mathers mixtape was planned with the official album soon after.
