Kendrick Lamar Kendrick's short film 'M.A.A.D.' Will Be Exhibited At The Museum of Contemporary Art In LA for 4 mon

    The short film is also being adapted for the cinema (full length movie)

    "[m.A.A.d] was a montage of the lifestyle,A preview of what's going to happen next.A movie IS in the works" @kendricklamar to @rikkimartinez"


    As revealed by MOCA, the exhibition will run from March 21 through July 27 next year. A description about the film on the museum's website reads:

    "Kahlil Joseph’s double-screen projection m.A.A.d is a lush portrait of contemporary Los Angeles. From barbershops to marching bands, from homeboys drinking in the streets to the iconic carpet of shimmering lights, the camera in m.A.A.d sinuously glides through predominantly African American neighborhoods in Los Angeles catching a dizzying array of quotidian moments suffused with creativity, joy, and sadness. Joseph’s film is accompanied by a thick booming soundtrack provided by emerging hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar and indeed m.A.A.d is part of the title of Lamar’s highly acclaimed second album Good Kid m.A.A.d. City."

    I hope they give it a bigger release at some point. Deluxe edition of next album, maybe?

    he met khalil by working with Flying Lotus and he met flying lotus on the yeezus tour

    Khalil is one of the most acclaimed new directors so it was always going to be a huge film
