Probably but just speaking to the entertainment industry aspect of it, child actors/musicians are the bread winners of their family and have full time jobs way before regular kids get their first jobs. Millie Bobby Brown was, at like 12 years old, a global icon working a demanding job at which 90% of her colleagues were adults.

People outside of the industry don’t understand any of this. Child actors have relationships with older actors on their show, producers, directors etc. It’s work. There are lines when there are adult-child relationships but it exists on every movie or tv set in the world. Having a mentoree relationship with someone who was also a global icon is not weird.

It may be acceptable in some cases if you are a trustworthy decent person. But Drake has a long history of sexual misbehaviour and has dated numerous young women that are barely 18. There's no way in h--- I would be comfortable having him text my 16 year old daughter, or form any kind of friendship. Any decent parent would be telling him to stay away

He made a lot of mistakes, just didn’t seem to be in the right headspace. I mean when you’re getting attacked by one of the best rappers alive & you’re taking half of each song’s runtime to address other irrelevant people, you’re completely out of it.

At first with Push Ups I thought Drake was using the 20v1 narrative strategically & clever, I didn’t think he’d continue bringing them up lol. He was ill-prepared, considering he was waiting around for Kendrick, he should’ve spent that time stacking ammo, then he would’ve lowered the odds of saying some dumb s---.

I liked this beef a lot because Kendrick took the words right out of my mouth about Drake. Most of the things Kendrick said are things I thought about Drake way before this beef. “You not a rap artist, you a scam artist with the hopes of being accepted” sums it up perfectly.

I find it crazy how drake was tryna use the 8 mile approach and be ahead of the whole young girl s--- and Kendrick still did it in a way that it still stung

Plus he dug his own grave when he used the Tupac AI cause alot of people were pissed at that

I liked “The Heart 6” as well (aside from the pedo defending parts), def wasn’t a good enough comeback but still gave him a tiny bit credit back

The best part of the song was the big reveal of him giving Kendrick false info about a daughter, and the meet the grahams picture.

BUT since it’s been proven Drake was lying about that, it makes the song absolutely ridiculous, when you combine it with;
1. He lied about setting up the MTG photo

2. Misunderstood the “Mother I Sober” song. This could have been a good angle with just a rewording of “that was the song where your mother was molested/ that’s why your so obsessed” or “that was the song where your mother always questioned if you were molested”

3. The pedo defending of id be arrested, I’m too famous. He could have easily just mentioned the pedo thing and laughed it off like someone said above. The lame excuses and excessive defending was awkward.

4. Saying he told all truths, while Kendrick lied about everything. Which really makes Drake look worse now that we can confirm he lied.

You can tell with the rhyme schemes it was hastily written, never-mind the content itself. I’m wondering with the mole situation, if he chose not to invite any of his writers or people he usually has around to give feedback during his cook-up of this one, & that’s what unfortunately caused the many missteps.

Me neither but one has much more widely spread info that easy to find that could allude to wrongdoing and doesn't come from somebody who's been inauthentic their entire career and has obviously gotten things hilariously wrong in this beef itself, a lot of people already had their minds made up but Drake did not help himself in swaying over the opinion of anybody.

Whether true or not it is funny that not a lot of people cared about domestic abuse allegations, pretty f----- lmao.
