Mar 2, 2016 Word... and I feel like more and more people are realizing this, or at least more and more people respect it. I remember ktt was f---ing hating on it and now they're saying tpab is his best work. Sometimes you just need to have an appreciation for different types of music to understand what makes an album great.

Whatever happens next, O.D. will remain my favorite and tpab will remain his best work IMO. in order my favourite to listen to through are OD, TPAB, GKMC and S80, but honestly I can see why TPAB is considered his best work. when that dropped it was so unexpected and different that I immediately shut it down as worse than GKMC, but it's such an intelligent piece of work and the production across the board is phenomenal. also, my favourite Kendrick song OAT is on TPAB sooo yeah, I doubt he can top it. Hope I'm wrong
Mar 2, 2016 I think people expect too much from Kdot. As far as I'm concerned, I just prefer his old sound and beat selection. I think TPAB is one of the most impressive albums I've listened to, but I don't listen to it all the time. I'd be happy with another Section 80

Their top 5 is 1 - 4 hours of trumpets, the album 2 - beach boys album (the latest one...) 3 - country album (big surprise biggest listener base in the world for this genre) 4 - some 70s pop-rock bs I never heard of by some dude who's name is foreign/hard to pronounce 5 - Kendrick TPAB. So don't act like that score is something special when the 4 albums above it are all super hot trash. Like no Bob Dylan? No Beatles? No MBDTF? Illmatic nowhere to be seen. Most people I know that like beach boys thought their latest album wasn't as good as their older ones too??? This TPAB metacritic score is starting to look as credible as me stating that Kevin Gates ISLAH album is the greatest album of all time across every genre. Because it is.
