    Ye is alright, but Kanye just doesn't have the time or drive to give his music the proper effort it deserves anymore.

    The album could've benefitted from more rap features. If Kanye doesn't care enough to write verses, at least bring in some artists that could add meat to this project

    I Thought... is the most repetitive song on the album though. He repeats the same thing for like 3 minutes lol

    I'm writing something that touches on this a bit that I'll share (hopefully) soon. I honestly agree with a lot of what you have to say about the album, but there are other aspects of it that really, really hurt what could have been a great album for me.

    this album is so disappointing. his lyrics are worse than ever, and none of the songs stand out to me. i'm not all that surprised because we saw the start of his downfall on the life of pablo.....but this is even worse. rappers when they are in kanye's age range........tend to put out work that isn't very good. there are exceptions, but generally that's how it works.

    i like the most of kanye's work, so i'm still shocked by how low quality this is compared to his other albums. you guys who think this is a very good album are kidding yourselves and you need your f---in ears examined.

    It's a basic reality Kanye is incapable of making a bad album even when he's battling mental demons, we all have a different criteria for his catalogue but it's just a fact all of them are great in their own way.

    I'm not blown away (I unfairly hold Kanye to a stratospheric standard) but it's still so pleasant on the ears, some sloppy moments when he raps but nothing that dismantles the whole song. Ye 2/2 bring on the Cudi collab

    Way too early to get into rankings yet, but I will say—I think Kanye's hit the point of his career where most of his albums are gonna fall in the latter half of his discography quality-wise, and I'm OK with that, because while I'm not sure how I feel about the album yet, I know I don't think it's a failure. And it's a big ask to ask for another album as good as Yeezus, MBDTF, or CD.
