    This is one of my favorite discussions and I’ll often bring it up in real life. Rap is is still so kinda new compared to rock music. Most prolific rockers are still kicking today (s--- look at mick jagger still dancing around on stage) and still working well past their primes and into their 70s-80s. It doesn’t surprise me that some of these hip hop pioneers still tour and make music today. That’s where I see the likes of legends like Jay, Eminem, and Wayne going in 20+ years. No idea what quality they’d put out but I don’t think they’re gonna differ much career-trajectory wise from musicians of old. Rap is a young mans game tho, so who knows.

    50 Cent made a deal and said he would retire if Kanye outsold him. Unfourtunately for him, Kanye ended up outselling him lol.

    By 2007 50 Cent had plateaued and Kanye was just entering his prime so 50 probably overestimated his star power based on his previous albums.

    Anyway, what a great rollout that was compared to the shitshow that has been the last few Kanye albums.

    50 said that when he heard "Naaaa na na na wait until I get my money right" he knew he was in trouble. That people would connect with that. Something along those lines.

    I reckon rappers are burning out a lot faster than rockers too.
    Yeah I reckon rappers are getting more burnt out than rockers too. Jagger old as s--- could still rock a show, meanwhile Wayne's having heart attacks and seizures at like 27 yo

    Was the sound on the stream super blown out and staticky at times or did I just get a LQ rip (thx @yeez2 regarless!)? Didn’t even make it thru the first song cuz this s----s almost as potato quality as it was inside the echoing stadium lol. If that’s actually what’s it’s like I’ll just wait for the CDQ version

    Nah it was as close to CDQ as that mix was going to get and then when the songs ended they cut back to live audio to hear the crowd cheer
