Inspired by a recent interview Kanye did with a fashion designer ( by the way interesting inteerview), I decided to dig up a little history of Kanye praising th-eee s--- out of Eminem.

1. Nobody's ever gonna be bigger than Eminem. (Response to if Nicki Minaj has the potential to become one of the greatest of all time )



2. When I heard Eminem's verse on forever I went back to the lab and rewrote my verse fo 2 days.
( He sounded pretty upset while saying that )


3. I feel like I'm Eminem. You don't think white rapper.. you just think Eminem.. You don't think straight designer, black designer, all these kind of things that kinda held me back conceptually, you just think of those words.


4. ...It takes amazing talents to break down barriers...people don't have a problem with white rappers anymore because Eminem turned out to be the greatest artist

If you can beat the game at the hardest mode ..then it's like the ultimate win.. then you're like Eminem, Tiger woods...

And while we're at it : Would you like the two to collaborate another time ? And how would that look like ? Kanye on the board and Em adding some things to the song ? And if so, what direction ?
Gotta be honest, I don't care about forever but it was kind of exciting to see all these superstars on one track. Oh and Drake and Em killed that s---

Also you know what are realized ? Eminem and Kanye are more alike than people think. This is actually my main question.They both come off as "different". Like that kid in class that's a little shy but pretty creative and just waits to flush it all out Would you agree with that ? Let me know what you think of that

Saw the new interview. but good job OP for mentioning the past references and analyzing the relationship.

I don't want collab because for me Kanye doesn't interest me as a rapper (Although it will be smash hit if they did).

I just respect Kanye for respecting Eminem.

TBH I don't know many songs produced by Kanye, but I loved the production in all of his songs that I listened to.

Definitely want Eminem to rap in a beat similar to the song "Stronger".

Personality wise, I think they are totally different.
New Eminem: Humble, cheap, doesn't like public appearance, full of himself, respectful, hate fans in public.
Kanye: Bragging, Owns cool car/s, married to the hottest chick (not imo, but many people think so), rude (imo) (Taylor Swift twice and the disabled fans who didn't stand up).

Maybe Old Eminem was similar to Kanye in saying things for shock value, but their differences are much bigger.

I think that chair thing was a misunderstanding. I see your point.
But what I mean is that I feel like they both seem pretty introverted if you pay attention to their gestures or facial expressions. I realized this with Kanye, he's easily distracted or doesn't really know how to properly react in a conversation. And I feel like his "bragging" comes from him feeling like people are not taking him serious, he always semms kinda frustrated.

Yeah, Em seems pretty humble when it comes to money
