Honestly, that's pretty much how I felt when I first listened to it.

It was my first introduction to anything experimental rap-wise, besides Yeezus. Seeing it was trending on HipHopHeads, I gave it a spin, and it eventually grew on me due to how atmospheric and melodic it was, while being very different from anything I've listened to.

It definitely took a bit of time though, I just kept gravitating back to it.

I agree. I don’t know if it’s the equipment used but the production on STH has stuck with me more than Peggy’s solo albums (I still enjoy Veteran and LP!). I’m still hoping Vol 2 comes out sometime this year hopefully

He gets compared to Death Grips a lot due to the fact they're both experimental rap, but honestly, they're not much alike. It's why there's a one minute long track called 'JPEGMAFIA TYPE BEAT' that sounds like it was produced by Death Grips, to poke fun at this phenomenon. (Which tbh is a b-----r and wish it was longer).

But personally, besides a handful of their songs, I don't really care that much for death grips in general.

I don't think it's anywhere near as abrasive as Death Grips but it's definitely not traditional

Yeah he has a decent amount of wrestling bars on every album. "Sock it to these ni**as like Mankind" is a personal favorite.

His "You think you know me" tag is also from Edge's theme

Ya agreed I feel like anything over a 6 is a likeable album for me. I didn't love all the songs for either album but I liked over half of them so they were both good albums just not something I love.

Still added a good portion of each to my big playlist. My one playlist had like 5000 songs lol

I was gonna mention something similar but for me it's the opposite. I enjoy this one more than Clive Demo. Gave this one a 7.2 cause I gave Clive a 7. But I should've rated them 6.5 and 7 respectively.

Sounds tough like you said, but I feel like once you get passed that 7.5 or 8 mark. That will be reserved for albums i really love. Not just part of it.

I'm sticking with my rankings though
