May 21, 2015 really like the original version more. Dont like the extra additions to the productions here, XX's arrangement of popcaan's takes and s--- makes it seem cluttered to me, and he didnt really handle thug's vocals as well as thug's own engineers i like the way he switched around thug's verses tho, and the extra adlibs, and the fact that xx seems to appreciate how abrasive they are...he made them more in your face than thug's own camp has lately been doing. original version >>>
May 21, 2015 Listened to it some more today. It didn't bother me at first (probably because I was digging the verse-switching a lot), but the extra production additions were really unneeded and now they just straight bug me.
May 21, 2015 pretty sure this one is the "true final version" im seeing it everywhere/seems to be an official release. original version has the verses in a different order, seems to be mixed differently, less going on in the production, and no popcaan. apparently jamie xx just sent the instrumentals to a bunch of people and thug came back the quickest with his incredible s---, and it was tied with popcaan's as far as favorite takes go. so the final version is both melded together original: http://www.mediafire.com/listen/14qrwqqkehw5t6h/There's_Gonna_Be_(Good_Times)_Origin.mp3
May 27, 2015 Original is easily better. Too much going on in the final version though I like the verses switched as well.
May 27, 2015 Yep, I also prefer the original, but this isn't bad at all. I'm very hyped for the album so whichever version ends up there is a win
