    Not saying this it is fact that Cole won 2014 but sources aren't my eyes. Drake and young thug had a great year as well but only one rapper released an actual album and went gold in 2 weeks.

    Again I'm not saying Twitter is facts but no other project had more buzz or hype than Cole and that's because he's the only big artist that dropped.

    Who's talking about significance? I'm saying that moment during Kanye's track (and the following outro) are greater than anything I've ever heard by Cole. And that's not even questionable in my mind

    Cole won 2014. Single handedly put artist development back in the game. Killed the labels and showed that building a fan base is way more important than a caychy single. These are all factual statements. One thing I will say though, coles music is predictable. One of the reasons be free was so loved was because it was so left from a typical Cole song. FHD was more of the same from cole, just better. Kanye always out here doing unpredictable things, everyone wanted a b-----r for New Years, instead he gave us one of his most personal songs ever. Beautiful.

    You're completely overrating one sentimental line and some nice keys to follow...

    How you make that judgement after one day is baffling and I know you're being serious which is fine, but just stop. This isn't even a top 10 kanye song based off first impressions.

    my mom died and i have a daughter so i can relate to that line more than lots of people in here...its beautiful and touching..but stop treating it like its better than entire albums :uiukyuy:

    He's singing from his late mother's POV. She's asking Kanye and Kim to tell their daughter about her grandmother. How the f--- is that anything BUT undeniably beautiful?

    At first, it sounded to me as if he was asking Kim to tell their daughter about what her dads actually like, not the media perceptions she'll grow up with

    But then I realized it was from his mom's POV
