I agree with a lot of what you guys are saying. Hardly anyone has had a stretch of games like Westbrooks run right now in any sport. I thought we were arguing purely player to player so I'm with you guys. Don't agree that the talent disparity makes it less impressive for BIG O but to each his own.

deep down i want Russell (he's not a number 1 pick imo though) because i feel the NBA is no longer relied on the big man it's a guard driven league now. Every team in the NBA except for like 3 have an all star caliber pg and im tired watching our defense get broke down on one end and not have a good enough pg to do it back to them on the other.

I'm still up in the air between okafor and towns. Towns plays D has a huge upside but Okafor is ready now, crazy footwork he's only 19 so he has an upside as well. I'm hoping Duke makes it to the Finals against Kentucky, im curious to see what Okafor can do against Towns and Stein.

I feel you, I still remember when Heat took Beasley at 2nd, I was telling everyone Beasley should be No.1 pick over Rose and when we got him at 2nd I was wildin. 7 years later still top 3 L I took in my life fam. Okafor can't have a bad career tho if he don't get injured so I think he's the safest pick here

He's very arrogant. But i think it will only help him. When reality hits and people start Running him down in pratice I think he'll come to earth. I havent seen anyone in our region with talent and upside as him. Crazy.

I saw few Harden games in the NCAA. I wouldnt guessed that player could evolve into what he is know. He was slow, took some crazy almost halfcourt threes, forced every shot. So you never know how things gon end up

aight last post on this. You're literally counting his triple doubles. Do you know how many triple doubles Big O actually had? No. You just know that he averaged one. And you know Russ has averaged one (or close to it) in games KD has missed. That's where the comparisons come from. So for you say, look who he's played in those TEN games just doesn't add up

I could go on and on about this... I was having the same convo at work.

People need to praise Russ for what he is doing. They need to know that he is a beast and is an MVP candidate for sure.

However, if the name Oscar Robinson is brought up... that's like the dude of dudes of Triples. People did it with Bron and MJ and anyone who gets a triple.

Russ is hands down killing the game... but their is no comparison or there should be no comparison. He is averaging great numbers. Yes... I'm not even talking Oscar's whole career just that one season. IDK... seems pointless cause we aint gonna agree but Just saying ....
