    Gonna re-emphasise what I said on the songs single thread.

    Fierce, gritty & dark track. Hit's the nail perfectly on the head. I'm more of a Cole fan than Kendrick but this next album might just be something else.

    As fascinated I am by some of the posters on here breaking down the songs, it's sometimes just better to really look at the big picture and enjoy the songs for what they are. Kendrick & company are making meaningful/transcending music that must be appreciated and understood.

    I know The Black The Berry is better BUT people forget Cole released Miss America(similar aura) which i feel the concept of it harder to grasp than The Blacker The Berry which is probably why it didn't work.(Did anyone ever notice his background vocals? lol). On FHD Cole did what we wanted him to do which was not to only tell himself but the world that he was the best, which is what Kdot and Drizzy have always done. But now Cole needs to go out and prove and show why in his eye's he's the best. I hope Kdot's project really puts pressure on Cole to drop a timeless project, same way Drizzy did to Ye'. Hopefully whatever Mark Pitts was talking about comes to fruition sooner than later. :manny:
