    To me, it's next-tier in terms of importance. We as a listener can think we know what an album means but when the artist explains it, it really comes to life. To me, it's like crafting and you put the final touches to make it that much more presentable.

    the entire point of this mod was to be different and include threads from any timeline

    changing it to what you want is easy...just changing one file from the mod in ftp...but i honestly like it better this way

    better option would be to include "ban threads from mod" at some point when we wanna invest in it

    Usually I like them a lot, I don't know if they are important but they definitely add to my experience of the album

    I think it is crucial this day and age along with sites like Rap Genius if your fav rapper does implement double meanings you may not catch at first like a Lupe. I think that's an idea but it would difficult because you kinda know most about Cole's history: his relationships, college experiences, trying to make it etc. A regular fan may have listened to Apparently for the first time not knowing Mimi and/or Kay from previous songs/interviews whereas you know about them already so impact may have been skewed a bit.

    Depends on the interviewer and/or questions to be honest. You get people that ask the gossip and personal s---, people that ask the same, generic questions and then you get the insightful ones. The latter obviously is the best for the music but I think it's best that they come after the music's been digested for a while rather than it affecting the first impression in any way.

    Personally when I'm first getting into an artist, I find I watch hours and hours of interviews to get to know them - a lot of the time the music is better this way
