    New JID is great. My only complaint is the 40sec instrumental before he began rapping. Why waste so much time! The d--- song already short lol

    Technical ability there’s Eminem, Tech Nine, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick and JID at the top

    Total package as an artist is a different story. Cole is definitely on that list

    At least it’s been an exciting year for hip hop. Lots of major dope releases and entertaining beefs...Drake/Pusha, Eminem/MGK/Budden, etc...

    Nicki running her mouth and trying to stay relevant. Maybe Cardi and her will release diss tracks

    If we’re being honest, JID sounds exactly like KDot. He’s great but I have to be in a mood to listen to hat style of rap.

    Style is def different. Voice is similar. But do not get lost in that. I think someone on here said imagine Kenny trying to make hereditary. He raps fast and has a higher pitched voice. That is where the similarities are stemming from.
