    Bookmarked. I remember Cole recommended a book a while back that reminds me of this. I believe it was called "The Writer's Way" or something along those lines. Always meant to cop it.

    Feels like yesterday I was in those shoes, dreaming about taking the world by storm and doing all that's possible to avoid living a dull & unsatisfying life. Whatever challenge & struggle comes ya way make sure it will never bring you down and always strive to improve whatever aspect & talent that you have. We have so many opportunities out there, even though some look unlikely and may never manifest into our own expectations, work as hard as you can and I'm positive effort will always be rewarded.
    Someday I'll invite all ya'll to my soccer games when I make it as a pro :daps:

    JCN, I'm currently working on a presentation (for a public rhetoric class) that breaks down the new style of hip-hop marketing and I'm using Cole & Forest Hills Drive as the main subject of the presentation.

    I haven't even listened to the interview yet and I can already tell I'm going to side eye him for this. Cole doesn't even promote enough to get anywhere near the words "over saturated". Dude literally disappears, everyone else comes in, takes over the scene, and his name is only mentioned again whenever he's ready to drop something.

    He got burnt out with TWU and FNL interviews. He got sick of doing promotion and didn't do it for his first two albums in the long run. He feels more comfortable and open now and supposedly he's not going to do that with FHD.
