1. Jimmy is fine, he's just rusty af and he knows it.


2. Gasol does not fit with the team, basketball and personality wise. He's a great scorer & rebounder, but doesn't really bring anything else if the offense isn't running through him. He's is one of the absolute worst defending centers in the league. The blocks are a result of point blank shots, dude is either lost or too slow to get in position. Teams assault us in pick n rolls, mainly because Pau isn't able to fully hedge because he won't be able to get back in the paint before the big completes his roll.
3. Chicago proved time & time again to not have what it takes to acquire superstar talent. From Duncan to T-Mac to KG to A'mare and Melo, s---, even failing to pull the trigger on that Kobe deal, they can never get it done, despite a great franchise history and being in one of the biggest and best cities in the world. We finally drafted one in D Rose. Granted he's not what he used to be, but he's averaged 20-5-4 since Christmas on close to 50% shooting, and has the ability to take over games in the clutch. Not a lot of PGs out there who is capable of the things he is. He's been our best player in 2016 and as it stands now he is easily a top 10 PG.

Our best shot to contend going forward is keep Rose on a good deal. Him & JB are a top 5 backcourt and at their best 2nd to the splash bros. Drop Pau, Snell, Brooks, and Bairstow. As it stands now we will have at least 20 million in cap space this off season, that's more than enough to improve both forward positions and fill out a respectable bench.

Easily top 10 is a stretch
Curry, RW, CP3, Lillard, Lowry, Wall, Kyrie, I. Thomas, Reggie Jackson, Kemba, George Hill and Rubio, Jrue. That's 13 better overall PGs (that are healthy) I'd take over him. Those last 3 are far superior defensive players with enough play making that they're net positives.

He's played well in the second half though, I'll give him that

His nickname GaSoft was given to him for a reason. I will have to respectfully disagree that at 100% Rose and Butler are better than Lowry & DeRozan and Dame & CJ at this point, so that's a reach. I can see the Bulls being average for the next 5+ years and continue the trend after the MJ days. I just can't see them breaking out of it anytime soon with the pieces they have, management and future picks

I mean personally I think he's a top 5 talent, only thing holding him back have been injuries. H2H he has more than held his own, and dominated most of these matchups.

George Hill, Rubio, and Jrue Holliday? Hill is a good defender, but Rose is > in every other category. Rubio is a great passer, but he's shooting 37% this season. I like Holliday's game, but he's been almost as injury prone these past 3 years as Rose has. If we're bringing defense into the equation, Curry, Lillard, Wall, Kyrie, and IT are all average-below average. Derrick's last 3 months are definitely top 10 worthy.

Derozan & Lowry is fair, they've been carrying that team all season. As much as I love Lillard, there's not enough defense in that backcourt to give them the edge over Rose & Butler.

Their future is really in limbo right now. They can make the right moves and be contenders again, but just as easily fall into the wasteland that is the 9-12 seed. This off season is as important as they've ever had.

I still watch d--- near every day but it kinda fell off. They used to just run through a bunch of topics now they just pick their favorite s--- and talk about it the entire show.

Definitely fell off. Their views are so predictable too. I watch more for entertainment than actual valid points but then drop gems every now and then. Like you said way too stagnant with topics and also sometimes spend the longest on the most trivial s---.

that's an interesting thought ... gota get some serious personalities like stephen a and skip tho, because there's essentially already similar type concepts just as youtube videos like deadend hiphop for example but it just doesn't have the same impact

i feel music is maybe just too subjective for something like that, whereas sports is a bit more objective with criteria to base on, but can still be argued at the same time ... definitely an interesting thought tho
