I can't say I've listened to a nipsey project that's made me a fan. But the reason I asked that is if he had a classic in the works he wouldn't be releasing mixtapes and charging $ for them. He would prob be focused on delivering that classic album. It's been what, 3-4 years since those marathon tapes? I think he's found his lane and he's cool with it

I don't think being quiet is hurting him too much, right now even though more interviews wouldn't hurt but the Angie Martinez interview had a lot of buzz and the Letterman Performance is enough for a little bit. He's gonna sell 50k this week and it'll most likely drop even more next week to maybe 20k-30k.

The key to going platinum, or what i've seen from other albums that took a while to get there, is that after the initial hype wears off you sell 20k-30k basically every week till you reach 900k. Then you eventually get there. Cole's got to make a little noise every month for the next 6 months if not thats not gonna happen. I think we'll definitely get something from him this month though.

I dunno how much we get from cole until elephant eyes drops. Unless they gonna use ROTD 2 as hype for omen. I wont go in to doubt mode just yet tho, the execution of this album release was flawless, but coles gotta keep his name afloat, especially with titans dropping music soon.

I'm just saying no way he goes platinum based solely on the strength of the music in this day and age. Only Adele and Taylor Swift can do things like that and even Taylor Swift had massive promo.

Word im not doubting the dude just yet. But hes gotta have something out there on the radio with kendrick, kanye and drake dropping sometime soon. I think he will start doing promo after next week when sales are at like 25k.

I understand your frustrations, but at the same time i dont get what you guys expect him to b doing now ?

drop more videos, interviews ?? i dont think that really does much ... its just making noise for the sake of making noise imo ... and hes already dropped two videos, he can take his time with that, you cant overload the people like rick ross (releases videos for so many songs that u dont even care anymore, not to mention he dropped two albums last year lol - both combined for all year still not more sales than cole in one month LMAO) ... i believe we'll b getting at least like 4-5 more videos for this album but hes just gona space it out, which i believe is smart ...

plus as for ROTD2 and TY4 theres no reason to drop those so soon, his album hasnt even been out a month yet ... I think my n----- @Kold gets it as usual ... we will get those eventually (no reason to believe we wont) but for now coles just saving those bullets to fire when the time is right ... maybe on his birthday like yall say, maybe when drake/kendrick start making noise, who knows ...

but i just dont see what yall want him to b doing now - only thing i would want to see is like a making of video for the album cause he hasnt done even one of those for either album yet, and this would b the one to do it for, or maybe a small video about the lil tour he did ...

like i said tho, i think its fine for now but he probably should start doing something else in the next couple weeks, just b patient til his birthday im sure he'll do something then

still more than krit and future and almost YG's first weeks in his fourth week tho lol

I agree with you 101%. I only respect him cause he's lowkey genius, dude found the right formula and makes every beat the same way and gets tons of money. I can't hate on that, plus it bumbs in the club Not sure for how long will people eat it up tho.
