    I'm just hoping J Cole tries to get more creative with this. I feel like he's never tried going outside of his comfort zone, which is fine because he's great in his lane, but I wouldn't mind hearing him try something crazy. I don't think it'll happen, but maybe some reggae?

    Didn't produce No Role Modelz and Love Yourz either. And had co-production on at 5 others tracks. I'm just pointing this out to show that n----s think always think Cole is doing this all by himself when its not true. He's the foundation but he got outside production. For this album illmind, already pretty much confirmed. Vinylz and Boi-1da confirmed. And there will probably be more. Not to mention that countless outside instrumental production shown in the doc. This idea that its still Cole in his room by himself chopping soul samples for The Warm UP trying recreate College Dropout is just funny to me. Even though I want more outside production and I want him to do it more for sure I agree with yall, but I understand why he wants to be the foundation, the same way 40 serves as a foundation for Drake even though they get outside production.

    Fair enough. I'm excited to see what he does with 1da,. For the most part he doesn't really make beats that fall in line with Cole style so it should be interesting.
