The first hiatus, from November 12, 2004 until May 15, 2009 lasted 1645 days. In that time we got a greatest hits album with three new songs, a label album with seven Eminem songs, one loosie, one group track, and twenty features, for a total of 32 songs. This second hiatus from November 5, 2013 until present day has so far been 1400 days. In that time we got a label album with seven songs and one group song, a movie sound track with two songs, and two group songs, one loosie (Campaign Speech), and nine features for a total of 22 songs. That is an average of one song every 63.6 days.

In those 1645 days of the original hiatus, we received constant news about new albums in the works. We have gotten no credible info on the new album, and the only information has been a tweet from Eminem about Campaign Speech.

The second hiatus is only 245 days shorter, and is 12 days per track more barren, so at present, I'd say this hiatus is even worse than the first.

Yet, no one seems to consider this a hiatus.

Eminem is once again overweight, inconsistent in musical output, socially awkward, and now even had a major change in appearance. It's safe to say the methadone is back

The real issue is whether or not he got taco meat on his chest. The beard reveals so much. What else hasn't he shaved?
