So...what makes the phobia so bad? Why is it bad to be scared? It's not hurting anyone to be afraid of the future based on the stories of the present/past. Luckily, as a Canadian, I don't have much to worry about - they aren't outnumbering us yet. But in places like Sweden, Germany,, I would be very Islamophobic. I would be scared for my future children, especially if they are women.

Plenty come to these countries to start a new life. They deserve that. They shouldn't be held down by the people around them who are hateful, radical criminals...but we mustn't pretend these people don't exist for political correctness, or not to be racist. The Germans, The French, & The British don't deserve to have their lives changed because of the moral obligation to take in immigrants & refugees..

This reflects poorly not only on Muslims, but governments of the countries above. The processing system MUST be stricter, IMO.

Its not about being scared. Islamaphobia isn't really a good word to use tbh. It's innocent muslims facing hostility because of the actions and views of a minority they do not represent.

I can see your point though. There are areas in Birmingham espcially which i've seen for myself are muslim dominated. Some of them are very hostile to non muslims and have been known to have grooming gangs and assault non muslims.

They deserve complete protection. They are just as French, Canadian, American, Swedish or German as the next person. But those who are radical, those who sympathize with radicals, must be treated harshly.

Of course. I agree with that. More must be done to clam down on mosques spreading radicalisation. It has become too PC at times and police especially in my country have been afraid to tackle issues on the fear of being accused of racism.
