    If he were a Sith Lord, it would have been more obvious in the other films. The theory mostly stems from the fact that he helped Palpatine gain power in the senate.

    Dunno if it's explained in that post but I was watching the Cracked video on it and they pointed out jar jar was mouthing the words of people in the background, as if he was puppeteering them to say what he wants
