I really hope it introduces a younger actor as Jones. Either through time travel or flashback. If it's time travel, it would be dope af to see old indy squabble and banter back and forth with a younger Indy. Kinda like Jones Senior with Ford in Last Crusade.

I liked it. Definitely the weakest in the series. My problem with it was it was to light. Tried to be to family friendly. The originals were dark af and really really violent. They were adventurous and fun for sure but I mean, a guy gets his heart ripped out in Temple of Doom. Crystal Skull was a bit to cartoony for me and changed the formula to much. I actually really liked Shais performance in the film. And the aliens were a cool idea, just not executed as well as they could have been. I'd give it a 6.5/10. Fun movie. But doesn't live up to the OT. Looking forward to a new series. Honestly wouldn't mind a series following Mutt like it was teased at the end of 4. I really enjoyed his character.

Idk about anyone else but I feel the Indy series should work like Bond. Recast ya know. There are to many good stories to tell. My picks for the role would be
(in no particular order)
1. Dave Franco
2. Bradley Cooper
3. Chris Pratt
4. RDJ

if you're trying to cast a younger actor to play indiana jones, i don't think you choose someone like RDJ who is already in his fifties (or approaching). someone like chris pratt would make most sense, although he is already stretched too thin in terms of being plastered in every blockbluster after only blowing up a few years ago

True. But tbh idk if I would want Pratt to play Indy after JW and GOTG. Roles are a bit to similar. Dave Franco would be perfect for a younger Indy in his late 20's. Cooper would be perfect for an Indy around the age he was in Temple of Doom and Raiders. I'd be happy with any of them honestly. I agree RDG is getting up there. Plus he's already Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes so.

I want to see Ford lose an eye in this one like he has in the TV show (it's cannon). They need to bring grit and darkness back to Indy while still retaining the fun, eg: Star Wars TFA & Uncharted.

Harrison Ford is 73 rn, so...

Time travel story seems to be the only acceptable option rn, even though I enjoyed 4th part

awesome! i'm excited!

i love these movies and this is an awesome series. often times the movies that come after the first one are average or bad.

but that doesn't apply here....these movies are very good
