Honestly I'm not the best at my media accounts either, I have a decent sized media fan base but it's nothing crazy. I actually have more real life fans from shows and stuff than I do social media ones, you think they'd go hand-in-hand but it doesn't really work that way for me haha

i can't get irl fans, no one i know likes electronic music like i do, or cares all that much about production, and i can't perform to bring in fans that way

so i'm left with my media accounts, which i have no idea how to run l0l

I don't know if you've tried yet, but do some research on marketing and promoting music online. It may help! You gotta find a way direct your stuff to a specific crowd that would be interested in your style of music. I've learned that if you just post stuff with no real direction just out to everyone you won't really get anywhere.

Yeah, i've tried that before and come up empty handed. most of the advice is very vague from what I've seen, and doesn't really offer anything usable or specific enough for me to follow it

i'm looking into it again tho rn, but i'm not sure i'm gonna find anything

Yeah I noticed the vagueness myself, and a lot is common sense stuff too. On the surface the information you'll find won't be very helpful, because it is so general. You can't just read it and expect you'll know exactly what to do, you really have to think about it and make the information specific to you. Then you gotta test your ideas to see what works best, and focus on that. Sorry I can't really give specifics, different things work for different people, you just gotta experiment with it. So yesterday was the big day! Not only was I part of an incredible lineup that included Diplo, Travis Scott, Pusha T, Lil Dicky, and many more big names, I can now officially say that I was an opening act for 50 Cent! That's right, last night G-Unit reunited on the stage that I was performing on just moments before! It was an incredible experience and I'm never going to forget it. Every single moment was an adrenalin rush for me, from being on the radio, newspaper, and televised news the day before, to chilling backstage before the show, to performing, to watching the incredible show the other artists put on the rest of the night, it was a dream come true.
