Why are you getting so mad? He's saying one is sexually preference (fluid) and one is what gender you are ( binary - man/woman)

I'm saying the term gender doesn't mean what he thinks it means in this context. He means a person's sex (male femal)

My point is that gender is just as fluid as sexually preference because gender (how masculine or feminine you feel) isn't the same as sex (if you have XX or XY sex chromosomes)

    Understand m8?

i dont think you need much research to reach the conclusion that turning your d-ck into a vagina is not rational human behaviour

It's not this shining orb of hope for trans people though. Many still k--- themselves. There's been conflicting studies, some say it's a big help others say such permenant changes plant the seed of doubt and regret into the person's mind. Wish there was a middle ground. Try treatment to make them happy with their gender and if that doesn't work then you go with the transition.

Seems to me like surgically changing your body is pretty common these days. So what if a someone wpuld be happier living life as a woman?

Also humans are very irrational. We would all have diagnosed mental disorders if irrationality was the only prerequisite

Plus the issue has been so politicized that if you go against the mainstream narrative your study is considered taboo and hateful. I hope when the attention dies down we can start to get more varied information on the subject.
Where is the line drawn? Do you see the argument you used potentially being manipulated by people?

"So what if he wants to add porcupine needles to his body. People get surgery all the time, so what if he's happier as a porcupine?"

This is not an argument against trans people, moreso an argument against emotion based language used in context with a medical issue.

you're literally telling me things i already know about and finishing it with "so your ignorant if you think like you do"

Gender Dysphoria is the trauma/stress an individual experiences as a result of the gender they were assigned at birth. So yeah, Transgender people suffer from gender Dysmorphia, but my argument is that transgender people are mentally ill.

im not angry you s--- eating s--- for brains r-----ed c---- f--- absolute nun vagina

and no gender is not fluid. Masculinity and Femininity are social constructs, they do not interfere with gender. you are born a male or female and you like things, things could be anything, sport, make-up, dildoes, fleshlights, lingerie, hi-vis and work boots - it doesn't matter. you like what you like. If I one day saw some lingerie and decided "f--- tht'd look good on me" i'd be a man, who finds it enjoyable to wear lingerie. Not a guy that should of been born a woman to indulge in these womenly things!

That's the biggest problem with Trans arguments. It's like, hard for me to explain it. But if you like something, you like it - You don't have to be a female or a male to enjoy something. and IMO the mental health issues arise when someone young likes/enjoys/wants to do something, but instead sees that thing advertised to the other gender they think "oh that's not supposed to be for me... I'm not supposed to like this... but i like it, am i supposed to be the other gender?"

I only care when children start to transition into animals. An adult can do whatever they want. Will we be talking about otherkin as a serious identity issue one day? Who knows. If I'm around for it, I'll be the first to be otherkinphobic lmao.

You're saying I'm telling you things you already know but then you go and say a bunch of stuff that doesn't make sense like your next paragraph. Transgender is a label for people changing genders, gender dysphoria is the name of the mental disorder associated with it

have you seen how a sex change operation works? It's f---ing horrific. If you think thats comparable to a nose job or a face lift you're delusional.

And i never said they shouldn't have the option to do that, it's just f---ing weird and not normal behaviour.

Well even if it's not much of an argument, there's something disturbing about the idea of permenant genital mutilation. It doesn't get the same reaction as a nose job. The parts being f----- with are much more...intimate, lmao.

While calling me delusional? I'm curious why does your level of horror determine what surgeries make you mentally ill?

not really, that's kinda generalizing the s--- out of it. Gender Dysphoria is the dysphoria (distress) a person experiences as a result of the sex and gender they were assigned at birth. There is evidence suggesting that people who identify with a gender different from the one they were assigned at birth may do so not just due to psychological or behavioral causes, but also biological ones related to their genetics, the makeup of their brains,[1] or exposure to hormones before birth.

So yeah, like, you can be a male that hasn't even begun transitioning/decided to do it, but he still suffers from gender dysphoria. it's not something exclusive to transgenders only. but yeah, please continue to dodge my other points by saying i dont know what im talking about

I don't debate with entire paragraphs from Wikipedia. Either do your own research and word your own arguments or f--- off
