^4... the point of hhdx is that kendrick is one of the very few rappers with 4 great records (2 classics) in a row -

I'd say Eminem si the goat, but kendrick is most definitely going to end up in this discussion. -

Like he said, he doesn't know if he would agree with him being the goat, but he can understand why the argument would be made.Vitaqua, Royston Drenthe, h Allu and 4 others like this. -

And most people consider his discography to be sxn80, gkmc, tpab, uu, = 2 classics + 1 cult classic and 1 amazing tape with b-sides.
So yeah, he's 4/4 like hiphopdx said...the rapper with the best metacritic score in hip hop historyVitaqua, Royston Drenthe, h Allu and 2 others like this. -

I disagree. Another example, you can't rationally accept Infinite when discussing quality of Eminem's discography...that was before he grew into what he became. Before he was given the means by which grew into the artist we listen to today, basically.Vitaqua, Royston Drenthe, h Allu and 2 others like this. -

Saw this earlier today. He made some great points that are enough for me to put Kendrick into the conversation....the only thing that might play against him is that he's only been around for 5 years (if we only consider OD/sxn80 as the beginning of his career)Vitaqua, Royston Drenthe, h Allu and 2 others like this.Nov 17, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

In this case it is correct. Back in the days rappers knew they couldn't hurt their legacy by dropping a mixtape.Royston Drenthe, h Allu, moedageniuss and 1 other person like this.Nov 17, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

you clearly haven't seen the video.
They're saying there isn't a single rapper with a 4 album streak as acclaimed as Kendrick (and that it is considered as his discography, because, once again...the hip hop community doesn't give a f--- about mixtapes) and that 2 of these albums are classics. They even mention Jay-Z as a potential goat who had to drop 6 albums in order to have 2 classics.Royston Drenthe, h Allu, moedageniuss and 1 other person like this.
