    I don't really know how the streams are same as selling album so I don't really know how big of a difference it could make at all.

    Post Malone put White Iversin on Stoney for that reason alone. Of course he had other hits, but that song was out for over 1.25 years before he released his album.

    It's not 1500 times an album is streamed but 1500 times any song on the album is streamed. (As far as I understand). Therefore if you have one massive hit it will increase album sales, even if you don't look at the other songs.
